New forum suggestion

HEllo there, as you know I"m Wolfy....er anyways I have a small suggestion. THerefore I put it here... I noticed you had a canine art forum. THat's wonderful! But I was wondering, maybe you could add a Canine fiction section. I'm sure people would like to post their fanfictions, poems, and short stories about our beloved balto or other canid, lupine, vulpine stuff^^

Just a thought...

Not to sound unfair, but I was trying to cut down on the number of forums we have here. �Which is why some forums of the �past were merged into others. �IE, I didn't want others to have a million forums to check, because that takes forever.

Your fiction can go in the �Whatever forum. �Unless you don't mind sharing the artwork forum with fiction as well AC. ;)

Personally I'd prefer the art section to stay art, I have widened it with canine art in general as it is and it is usually pretty busy as it is. I think the whatever section would be best in this case mainly as it is the place people have put stuff like this in the past.

However if there comes a time where Silver feels another forum would be good, I would be happy to manage it in my section as a new part. I already have art and music, writing is around that theme.

That's cool AC, I understand, and that works out better too.  

I may reconsider come summer break.  I could take a good look at the forums, and hack ones that are not needed to make up for the space.  I'll get to you guys on it.

Hey AC, um, writting is art too. Just because it is not a picture, it is still cannine art. Here are all the art forms I can think of: Writtings, Paintings, music, drawings, fancy meals, paper oragami, wood/metal/plastic/rock carvings, blown glass creations, etc.

I just though this might help you and silver settle your argument about were writting should go. I don't know if you only want pictures of Balto or other canines only, but i'm just tellin' you that there are maney more art forms out there that people do.

4 example, if someone had carved a balto out of wood, that is an art form, it should be able to go into the art section, shouldn't it? well, you don't have to listen to me if you don't want to, i am just giving a little advice. ;) Bye~bye

Yeah I see where you are going with art, painting, drawing, CGI, sculpture, etc is all welcome in the art section, but a line must be drawn (there are some forms of art we don't want lol like modern dance and mime!). I am an artist myself and have studied art so I know what goes into art. But I don't really regard writing as art myself. Yes writing can be very beautiful and breath taking in the same way as art can, but if you put the written word up on a wall, people don't take a quick look and go WOW! No they have to read it first and then go wow.

Anyway until there is an actual writing forum, I think it belongs in Whatever

I agree with Silver on cutting down on forums.But then I agree with Fluke im trying to figure out a way to do this my suggestion is throw a link instead of the section and just have a site with the stuff on it.
