I'm having trouble validating the email address on my real account (Kamotz) I just changed it, but when I try to validate it, I get an error message.
Can you delete this account when everything is fixed, Silver?

Could you post the error message? It may be an issue with the perl paths or something in the script again. >_>

| An error occured, not all of the required fields were sent from the validation link. Please ensure that they whole link was entered, it's possible that your email clients auto-wrapper cut the link in half. Please try again. |
I copy/pasted the whole address, though.116-106196084608 Aug 2004, 22:32 UTC
Hmm, it was probobly the e-mail client like it says, then... Silver will have to use her administration powers, this is over my head... ^_^

I can try, but I'm stumped. O_o;
*Edit.*
I don't see any visible problems with the paths. And other people are able to register without problems. I don't know why it happens to some and not others. If you have a better idea on what to look for 27, give me a paw. Otherwise, I don't know how to help Kamotz. =/\n\n

Probobly their E-mail clients are changing the link's HTML coding, that would explain why only some people have this issue...
I'm a little rusty on my Ikonboard admin panel, I'll look into my old board and see if I can figure out how to confirm the E-mail manually.
As far as I can tell, the only way to prevent this problem would be to download a hack that changes the validation link to a validation code that is E-mailed to the user who then inserts the code to validate the E-mail. I didn't make a hack like that, so let's just hope that some one else did.

I've searched for hacks and bugs on the problem, but nothing turns up. I can try a search for that type of hack though. But if it's just an e-mail addy, why not try another address, Kamotz?
