Hello. I know we have a writings forum and I'm thankful that we have a place to talk about our written works but what about discussing works we've read? There is a forum specifically for animated movies, perhaps books could have one. I doubt it would need heavy moderation because books tend to be a mellow subject....unless some ideot starts posting "Duh Hey lookit mah new porno I got wannt the review??" Then that would be bad. >.o blech. But I doubt that'd happen on these boards.

Books.
Just a thought.

Hmm maybe I should add books to the description of writings? Discuss books or write your own? Would that be good for you?
Say, that sounds pretty good! The topic titles would get a tad muddled unless we labled them though.

White Fang
The Adventure

perhaps original works/poems/ect could have [org] in their title

Beans, Beans [Org]

to signal that it is an original work?

Is it possible to make sub forums with this server? I've seen them before I think.*scratches her head*
Well I'll wait for a bit more input before I make a change.

In regard to putting [org] next to the thread titles, that would be up to the author of the thread to do.
It would be a fun way of finding out what everyone is reading. It could also spark some lively discussions. ???

I agree with AC.
It would be cool to have a reading furom, but if it was part of the writing furom it would kinda get confusing, but if it was its own furom it might not do so hot. I guess im for adding it to the writings furom.
I agree with putting it in the writings forum.  As long as it was properly labeled, there shouldn't be a problem.  And I'd rather not see the boards cluttered with too many forums.  (Because sooner or later we'll be switching everything over to PHP.)\n\n

Well, I think it's a pretty good idea, discussing books, and I think it will work out okay for major works of literature, like Shakespere, JRR Tolkein, J.K. Rowling, etc.  It would help out with understanding and analyzing the literature.  And I can see why it should be included in the writing forum.
