Quote error
Quotes not having any quoted text

Hey Silv, i noticed just a few minutes ago as i was doing some browsing around that people using the quote feature, have no quoted text inside the white bar, any way you can fix that? or is it the browser im using? (Mozilla Firefox)
-EDIT- looked at the boards with IE6, it dont see quoted text or the white bar =/

I don't know if this helps, But I just used the quote feature in My last post(In animation in general),And It worked fine

I'm not sure what the problem is, Long. I only use IE 6 to browse the forums, and I've never really noticed it. It could be a glitch on the forums, or it could be a glitch with some of you. I really don't know, but I can check the Ikonboard help forums (to see if there's a known glitch) when I get the chance.

I have a feeling it's because the members who are posting the quotes leave out the text that they are quoting. Tell me if you can see the white and text below:

Ok. I think this is what happens:
Member wants to quote a previous post so they know who he/she's referring to, and hits the quote button. Now, they see all this text in the box under their post, so they assume something went wrong and delete everything. Now, the automatic quote only enters quote code. That leaves them with this

I had a feeling that it might not have been an error at all. But, we'll give that a try. Who were the members that tried to quote, Long?
