I would normally suggest such a thing in the Admin section but everyone may as well get a say. How about creating a Help Forum where we can put fixed topics about avatars, FAQ, Guidlines etc all in. I think that will be less confusing to the new people instead of putting said topics in Suggestions as Help and suggestions are 2 different things. i know if I was new I wouldn't go to suggestions to get help.

What do you think? We could put it next to Member Introduction.

I second that. It sounds like a pretty good idea to me. It'll also have to be a little moderated because some people may ask some question that almost everyone knows, then insults fly out and a flame war starts. I've seen other boards fall to that (although judging by personality of the normal people that visit these boards, it'll almost never happen. Best to be safe than sorry though)

I think that would be a wise choice. Help and Suggestions should be separate since, as you said, they have nothing to do with each other. Again, that's a good choice. Run 'er!

I'd say go for it! It does get confusing from time to time. And maybe people would actually read the FAQs. ^^;

Thanks Silver and everyone else. I made the forum now, when we have the new rules ready we can post a stuck topic for them there along with the FAQs. As people use the forum then it will become a library of help for new folks.

Could the "Help" also be used for other things as well? If somebody needs help with making a annimated file or having computer problems, they can post about it in there?

It's really more for help around the boards. Not for everyday problems at home. Why not put such things in the whatever forum?
