They say cool stuff happens when you least expect it: this has certainly been the case for me. It all started a couple weeks ago, when I went to my local senior center for their Bingo games. Even though quite a few people were present, I won three games, without having to share the winnings. Not that they're anything big, though. maybe three bucks. Still, it's quite fun.
Then, a little over a week ago, last Wednesday, I played Bingo again, in Lincoln City, and this time for more money. I was in the next to the last game, and the pattern was a check mark. I remember telling my stepmother, "It would be impossible to win this stupid pattern", or something along those lines. I ended up winning that game, and got $200.
It doesn't stop there. The day before yesterday, my dad, stepmother and I took a trip to LC again. Then yesterday, I walked up to its local Goodwill, and as fate would have it, guess what I found? A Balto plushie, sitting, and in pristine condition, nearly mint, for $4.
I'm in the motel lobby, typing this message from their computer(and dude, they've got DSL)! We'll be going home today, so I'll check by the boards later.
You know, a lot of people say you shouldn't brag when you win something. But, seriously, how is it bragging? It's not like I willed myself to win that money, it just happened. And let me tell you, I was in shock!
Just thought I'd tell that little bit about these past two weeks, as it's been fantastic. Cheers!
