Gary Paulson, anyone read any of his books? They are really good and funny. Wood Song, which I read in Communication Arts class is very good, and some parts kinda funny, and he tells about his first race in the Iditirod and different dogs he trained and what life is to an animal. Now, I'm reading the next book about his first race in details or the second race? Though I started reading it in the library, my teacher came up to me and said that it was suppose to be in the highschool section because of the bad langauge in it. I read on and she's right, but it's still very funny, and I'm still able to read it. I'm on chapter 3 or 4? I can't remember, I'll get back to you when I'm done reading it.

sounds cool. I'll have to look for 'em in the library sometime
Pretty intersting, hope i'll find such a book in Romania.
If not we will have anyway Caragiale or Eminescu.

The Name of the second book is Winterdance The Fine Madness of Running the Iditirod. I've finished the book today, very good, but the ending was very sad.
I've read his books. Dogsong is a very good book, thats about the iditirod too.
The only book of his that I've only read is 'Hatchet' and I found that to be incredibly boring, but I'd like to give the rest a try.
Woodsong was very good too, and Winterdance put in more detail on what he did, how he trained the dogs, and what really happened in the race, which talks about the first Iditirod race he ran. In Woodsong he talked about the race in shorter form with no bad language and never really talked about the other mushers he met, and yes Woodsong was made for kids.
Hey I've read Hatchet A while ago! I thought it was pretty good
