That would've been cool to see in person, as long as you weren't in any danger.
I studied Mt. st. helens in Science class!!!!!!!!!!! Thank goodness this eruption was not as worst as the last time it erupted in the 1980. But yeah, I guess it would be cool to see it in person, except if you weren't in any danger. Also, did you know that when Mt. st. helens erupted in 1980, some of the ash from the volcano came to New England. Where I live (New Hampshire), my father saw some of the ash on his car. Pretty cool huh!!!!!!!!!!!  ??? .

Wolfen
I wish that I could get some ash...lol...I live a few hours away.

We've finished learning about volcanoes in science too, and yes, where I live, ash was on the cars too, like a powdery substance. It pretty much went everywhere, and I'm amazed that it exploded again!
wow, It would be awesome to see something as cool as that. Wow, ash from the volcano in New England?? now thats odd.
I'll say. But remember when that shuttle exploded and parts were found in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, even Kansas? If it goes up high enough, it'll fall all over the place. Was the wind blowing towards new England really strong, really high up or something? Just curious.
Mt. St. Helens is the least of our worries, I'm afraid. In Yellowstone National Park there is a HUGE amount of volcanic activity underground, and it's coming to a boiling point. When it does explode it will take out most of the mid-west and, supposedly, generate enough ash to black out the sun for two years. @_@ ( Joy! ) Only thing is, the "due date" for it's eruption is between now and 100,000 years from now. ;)

I suggest everyone that wants to visit Yellowstone do it sooner than later, heheh. :blues:
I highly dought that.  Besides, I don't believe that the earth will last that long.  If you know your religion, the earth is just thousands of years old.  people don't believe any of the truths the Bible teaches.  HUH.  Anyway, (*sorry for ranting*) but, Mt St. Helens, I've heard it lost it's top due to the last eruption.  That was last year?  I forget.
Screw the bible in thos one. Mt St. Helens blew apart in 1980 and was supposed to blow up again last summer....nothing happened though. I've heard of the super volcano in Yellowstone...sounds like Y2K, just at a new level...lol
It's true. Science has proved that this event has already happened a couple of times in the past. In fact, all of Yellowstone used to be a huge mountain range until the last eruption left a huge gap in it.>_>;

I do know "my religion" as you put it. I just don't believe in it is all.^^ To me evolution is real, and a regular fact of life. Now I realize that you and others might not agree w/ my opinion, and that's kool. I respect your outlook on life, and I only ask that you respect mine. =)
I'm with you Hybrid!
Well, I have complete faith in my religion! And I have no tolerance for blasphemy!!!!!!!!! So please do not talk about the bible like that!!!!!!!! As for Mt st. helens, it is bounnd to blow it's top again!!!!! And Dayami, Mt. st . Helens last eruption was in 1980. I guess only time will tell.

Wolfen
Yes, please don't talk like that about the bible. Though it might not be you're religion, please respect other's.

Yes, Funkee Puppee and Wolfen, thank you for going on my side.  Even though, I've heard that it exploded its top last year.  Maybe I'm too dumb in the head for that.   I believe in the bible and teachings.  No offense Hybrid and Alpine, but don't you believe in the bible and God?  (I'm not being offensive)
Wolfen & Funkee_Puppee: All I did was share what my belief was in one short sentence, and only as a means of explaining my point of view. O_o' I do respect others religion guys, but telling me not to talk about what I belive in because it goes against what you belive in is very disrespectful to me.(Not to mention offensive)

Dayami_Silver_Wolf: Like I siad, I don't believe in the Bible's teachings. *Is agnostic* No offense taken, Dayami. ^^
sorry Hybrid. But I was kinda talking about Alpine when he said screw the Bible. So Sorry.
I understand that you're (Hybrid) agostic.  I'm worried about Alpine though.
Drop the relgion stuff, please? Thank you. :)

As for Mt. St. Helens, it did erupt a few times in September and October, and after awhile, lava started to boil out. What I heard from my mom lava started to come out after the latest eruption, I'd post up a link but can't find it. The amusing thing I heard from the scientists is when they say Mt. St. Helens won't have an eruption like it did in 1980; well duh, there's nothing left of the volcano.

On a side note, I'm not really nervous about Mt. St. Helens, one reason is because I live nowhere near it; I'm more nervous about Mt. Rainer. Not so when it erupts but the mud flows that'll come from the glaciers.
Personal opinion is all, no use getting angry, I do respect most Christians, but there are a few that are really quite brainwashed by the religion.

-Alpine
Erupted again?
Not good, hope that some time it will stop spiting fire.
There was a old greek legend saying that the great titan Tifon was impresioned by Zeus in that mountain.(only a legend)
Dont talk about the Bible please!
"Religion is a test of faith where everybody's spirit communes with everybody's soul."
 Long live Cristianity (especialy Ortodox)!
I respect all people's religion and beliefs.  It's just I had to wonder.  I'll leave you guys alone with your own religion.  I love Jewish peoples!  That's all...  Never mind me.  I'm sorry.
I apologize Hybrid for my bad remark last time!!!!!!! I guess I kinda blew my top off. Sorry! Anyways, I will try to respect toher's opinions from now on. As for mt. st. helens, it is bound to erupt again sometime in the future.

Wolfen
Mt. St. Helens don't scare me!  I believe in such a thing Science is wrong so to speak.  I respect it but, I don't believe.  Besides, St. Helens is bound to erupt but I'm no chicken chicken.  :)
For now, I'm not worried about Mt. St. Helens. When the time comes, it will erupt and eventually bad occurances will happen. But now, I'm not that scared!!!!

Wolfen
Once it does blow, I'm gonna stock up on oil, water and air filters to keep my truck running through the ash...lol (that stuff clogs filters FAST
You probably want to get a mask too, just to be on the safe side.
about these volcanois nothing is certain except this:
They will all erupt or die (like the ones in Romania, Calimani mountains for example) it isnt a question of if but a question of when?
And when they erupt, God have mercy for those souls that are around!
It is going to destroy Puyallup and that area that is in the valley if the mud slides go that way. I might get a mask, but I've heard you can breath in the stuff. It would be a hoot though, I'd probably be one of the guys that would be sent on a supply run if it was bad where I live...I live in line of Seattle in Bellevue.
