Yes I heardr about Pope Joun Paul II's death over tha news and media. Just today at my church, our priest was talking about him. However, I never really knew about him, so i wasn't so much affected by it. But my family was pretty hurt about it. My your soul go to heaven Pope John Paul II.

Oh yeah. We heard about his death and the last moments of his death. Huh, for a reason, I don't feel affected at all by this. It's what Catholicism got into. Lutheranism don't worry about it. My pastor NEVER talked about the pope today during "Prayer Time". Sorry about you, Catholics on this board. I understand how you live this.
(( *Sorry to offend everyone and Wolfen* Wolfen, are you Catholic? I am Lutheran))

I think you know I'm Italian, so I should be catholic, but I'm not, I'm atheist. Of course I sorry for the pope, but here ALL the TV station (6) talked about him and not about Formula One grand prix! I'm angry because I love F1 and I think 6/6 station about the pope are too much.

the pope was a very carismatic person and will be missed dearly, being the only non italian pope for 400 years is quite somthing, but not being catholic it has not effected me much or many others on this board, but i pray for him and know he is in a better place now which we will all go to sometime, he will be dearly missed, but there will be another pope to come, after all the catholic chirch cannot leave it's leader position open for ever, i feel sad for him, but there will be others.

You know... I'm happy he's gone now, because he's no longer suffering. Let's hope the next Pope has a long and healthy life.

He was like they said a messager of peace.
He was 2 years younger than one of my uncles, petty loss.
I aint even catholic but orthodox and i miss him (still remebering his visit in Romania 1997) .
