Well up here in New Hampshire, I am having the whole week off because my school district is having their winter vacation. I am having so much fun at my house, but whenever I visit this forum, there is no one on in the morning. So i was just wandering, if any of you guys have vacation as well? *I'm so alone �

I'm on a year-round school schedule, which means I don't get all of summer off...I get three other months of the year off. So I don't get off until April, but then I get all of April off.

Anyways, this is my last day of my vacation Friday Mar. 4, 2005. 
Then I have the weekend off (like every other weekend), and then on Monday, I go back to school. Ohhhhhhhh well!!!!!!! It was a good week off from school. . Wish me luck in school....... again.

Really, that is great Kodi*!!!!!!!!! I think I'm going up North the Minnesota and see the wolves in my summer vaction. Or I might visit Isle Royale, the location of many Timber Wolves. I think I might also see YellowStone national park. I guess I will have to wait.

well im not at school anymore or college or uni so my vacation is my holiday at the end of june. Im going away to malaysia-kula lumper for the first few days and the rest on an island called langkawi. And when i get back im goin to a daniel beddingfield concert in thetford forest1

But, the first exam must be scary. Next year at the end of 1st semester, you have to have an exam. They say it's scary. I WANT TO GO TO HIGH SCHOOL! Seriously, I do.

It's not much different from public school. Main differences: a LOT less people, religion class, and maybe some other small things. Actually, we almost have 180 days of school-I'd say we have about 170. We just got really short breaks this year for everything else, so we get a long summer vacation. Oh yeah.
I think I would still rather go to a private Christian school than a public one because:
1. I'm an easy bully target, and if I went to public school, life would be a living heck because everyone would make fun of me all day
2. All of the stuff that's going on in public schools these days...guns, gay-straight alliances, and other things.
3. We start summer vacation earlier.

So you guys dont be so waiting for a vacantion because you have a easy time (till now school was a cinche), but now the hard time comes (i hated chemestry from the first day i meet my teacher but now i have 8-9 at it wich is bad, have to learn more), but now i have philosophy, chemistry, fizics (Ohm, Pascal, Joule anyone? ), latin (Nosce te ipsum! - Know yourself!

I want to go to a private chirstian high school but they charge over 5,000 dollars a school year. My cousin is going to FVL next year. I want to go to a Chirstian High School because I want to learn Latin myself.

They don't teach Latin at NEW (which is only $3500 a year), but they do teach Spanish, and they're thinking about German.

P.S. Probably because we are descendants of latins (lol we are latins but orthodox, we dont write our holy words in latin but ancient slovenian, weird people we romanians are)
P.S. Nick 3500$ = 133.000.000lei (current currency) and with this money i can buy about 2 elite computers (500gb harddisk etc... )
Dont know at wich school you are but to go to a private school is not a good idea, and the part with bully you must have life experience the basic is dont be scared i beat up a lot of bully, dont be intimidated by their looks because most bully's dont have the psichic power to opose well placed insults that will "brainfreeze them".
Example: Why dont you pick on someone at your level? like a rock! (then you run while he analizes the sit or fight back but be careful dont use the right arm but the left because everyman has a tendancy to use the right one. )
Now i think a "for eyed" dork (that what u amerc say about the guys with glasses but here nobody cares if you wear them or not) giving combat lessons.... LOL
P.S. (last one promise) Its fun to insult bully's in foreign languages (i know in french, german, 2 in italiana, russian, english and they helped me a lot in my life)
You must learn russian just for the insults, they are totaly filled in their language.

That reminds me of one girl I know...she and her friend were insulting each other in French, and one of her insults rhymed. LOL
Bullies aren't the only problem. After all, it's pretty easy to get away from them. Getting away from people with guns is harder. I think that everyone knows that there is a significantly greater number of people with guns in public schools than private schools.
I've been going to private schools for my whole life. I'm not afraid to stand up to other people. And, trust me, I've had the experience. School isn't the only place with bullies.

Ok togo, latin is easy for me because romanian is a latin language for example :
historia - istorie (rom) (history english) they sound in romanian exactly the same and many words are having such compatibility.

Eh...depends on the school and people that you're talking about. There are a lot of differences in different private schools. At mine, I only consider one group of eighth grade girls snobs. Everyone else is just normal if you ask me, and I hope that I don't act like a snob..:(
But then you have schools like Providence Academy in my city. I consider a lot of people that go there snobs. (Maybe because they have to wear uniforms...XD)
Like I said, the main differences between my school and a public school are that there are a lot less people at mine, and that we have a religion class.

I hate those 'bulleying' problem suicide shootings. All schools are turning into that. If my school goes threw that, I'll be screaming Michael (Wolfen's) name out. I don't want to die but if someone wills to, I'll go. I want to live first.

Ita. I heard about it. The thing that scared me is that when I heard them talking about the shooting at that school, they said that the guy that did it was a loner. No friends. All alone...then I got a little scared. That could happen to me, too. After all, that's basically how I feel at school. But my mom says that all teenagers feel that way. After that, she gave me a lecture about how real life is more important than people I know through the internet, and then threatened to ban me from the computer because I'm "losing touch of reality." LOL! Yeah right.

Thanks, Wolfen. I think that there are only two big reasons that I like about going to private Christian school:
1. No one picks on me (well, there may be some, but not as many as in a public school)
2. I can be open about being a Christian (in the public world, that's getting harder and harder...)
If it wasn't for those two reasons, I probably wouldn't mind going to public school at all. �I guess the only reason I would dread going to one is because I'm afraid...
