Has anyone here ever played any games from the Metal Slug series?
They're pretty nice 32 bit side scrolling shooter types of games and are fairly challenging to boot. I've only played the arcade version of Metal Slug 2 (before they removed the arcade machine at work) and I have Metal Slug Advance for my GBA. I wanted to get Metal Slug X for the PS1, but I never got around to it. So far, I have yet to beat either game, so I have no idea how they end. ^_^;

Yea I played it. Very addictive. I got the Metal Slug X some time back. Maybe I go find the PS2 version.

I play metal slug 123 and metal slug X on an arcade emulator, Occasionaly I play them on the net with other people on a server named Keilera I think it would be cool to play co-op with you on metal slug somtime Silver

I didn't know you could play Metal Slug online with others. Sure, I'd live to play with you some time, Winter! I just hope the server runs smooth. I've netplayed other games on the SNES9X and it was frustratingly choppy.

Ah that's cool... But wait, didn't you get a new computer a while back?
Anyway, I guess we just have to pick a date that'll work for the both of us. I'll be going back to school next week so it may be a tad tricky. But it'll more than likely be on the weekend, maybe a Sunday night. *nods* Say, does the net play work with a USB controller?

Hmm, perhaps we could all play together. Or take turns (like in the old school Nintendo days).
I was a bit disappointed to find out that the MS game was only coming out on the Xbox. But then they released something for the GBA so that made me feel pretty content. Now that I'm done with Fire Emblem I can go back to it.
