Welcome to the boards, Ebony. Glad to see you can finally post, unlike on the last version. Since Acanis got the rules and FAQs bit out of the way, I won't be repeative with it. 
Yeah, you're supposed to have 20 posts before you can have an avatar. However, that feature doesn't seem to be working. It's rather annoying, but I haven't had the time to look into it yet. Ah well, it's not that big of a deal.
