.:RISING THUNDER:.
Rising Thunder is a wolf RPG. Here follow the rules:
1) You must be a wolf, husky, or wolf-dog.
2) You must follow the story line.
3) No arguing over what happens.
4) You must fill in one of the positions listed below.
5) Alpha males and females do not necessarily have to be mates in this RPG, and males and females share the same status just as they do in the wild. (Yes, they DO share the same status. Ever heard of Wolf 42F or Wolf 41F of the Druid Pack in Yellowstone?)
Here follows the story line:
(NOTE: It is up to the players to make up the storyline afterwards)
In the Alaskan wilderness there are two wolf packs: the pack of FireBend Valley and the pack of the HawkWind Mountains.
They are starving during a famine and are competing for land, both having evidence that their ancestors rules the other's land, and that they should have a right to it as long as they are goign to fight for land. So the two packs find themselves caught on the brink of death, the brink of a war that will rise like thunder through the packs. Who will win? Will they settle the argument? It's up to you.

Nashoba scented the wind north of the peak, catching the taint of alien wolf-scent. The FireBend Valley pack had moved in closer. She was positive they were organizing an attack, but then again, so were they.
Her eyes attempted to pierce the silken black of night. Yes, there they were.
*Come closer* she beckoned with a wavering cry. It cut through the silence of night like a knife in the dark. She waited. *Will you not answer me, cowards?* She challenged with a hard, sharp bark.
The wind carried not a whimper to her keen ears.
*All the better* she thought to herself. *Let the pack stay. They wouldn't dare to cross the border.* But deep inside she was not so sure.
So far they did not even have a decent scout to see how many there were. She listened, harder now. If they howled, perhaps she could take a count. Nashoba knew how the decpetion of howling worked, how two wolves could sound like four or five.
She called again, softer this time. Would they answer?

DW, came closer to the HawkWind Mountain pack. He this was the night when they will have a battle for the lands. He was waiting for the others to come so they can get ready on his signal. This was the night when they will see who gets to have the lands. He heard her howl, but he did not answer he wanted his attack to be a perfect attack. DW, crept into the ever lasting shadows waiting for thier pack to come closer.
78-110711749706 Feb 2005, 05:04 UTC
Nashoba scented the wind one last time before she headed back. And then she caught it. The scent of another wolf. A low growl rumbled in her throat.
*Coward.* She thought to herself. *He doesn't even follow the Laws of the Packs. Battles are to be exposed. Oh well. Two can play at that.*
She rotated her ears, listening for his progress up the mountainside. Nashoba knew she needed to warn the rest of the pack, but that side of the mountain needed to be defended as well. Where was the rest of the pack?
OoC: We need to hold off until we each get at least two or more members- with just two wolves we're each loners with no pack to defend, and having more than one character per person just won't really cut it. So... anybody else wanna join? Pleeeeaze?

TIB NAME: AlsatiaWolf
GAME NAME: Sickle
GENDER: Female
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: A crystal white fur coat, One brown and one blue eye, Two black front paws, black tipped ears, black tipped tail, and a black muzzle. Has a few visible scars on head and body.
The snow white female lurked alongside the leader, or alpha male wolf. Through the thick night, she saw figures crouching, running. The strong scent of the HawkWind Mountain wolves flew past her nostrils. Baring her teeth, she crept ever closer, though ready to attack, or withdraw, or to do whatever the leader wished. She stayed silent as the howl drifted past. Her tail swished, and her thick claws braced against the ground.
78-110711749707 Feb 2005, 03:03 UTC
Now Nashoba could smell more of them. But the fearless Alpha female held her ground.
A quick, warning woof was sent by her to her packmates on the opposite side of the mountain. If only they'd come! She desperately needed backup (OoC: hint, hint; BIC) but in the meantime she would not allow them to progress further- she was strong. Perhaps she could hold back two wolves... or at least she could try. One thing was certain: if it came to it, she would die fighting.
65-108501507209 Feb 2005, 02:07 UTC
Sickle glanced to the alpha once more, and down to the ground where the other pack was probably hidden. She too, wondered where the rest of the pack was at the moment. But they couldn't interfere now, only if they really needed it. Pack members didn'r fight much anyway. She let out a slight breath, watching as it froze in the freezing air.

TIB NAME:Nanaki
GAME NAME:Nanaki
GENDER:Male
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:Mostly a deep, dark, grey wolf that showed shades of lighter grey from his muzzle, down his belly, to the tip of his shaggy tail. Large wolf, with large paws as well, fairly larger then the average wolf, not humongous. Yellowish eyes for the whites, otherwise, they are of a deep ice blue color. A scar ran down from the top of his left eye down to the bottom of it is a swift motion (Think of scar from Lion King) several other scars were on his front paws that seemed like burn marks.
A large wolf stood up above the mountain side, looking at the three wolves that were fighting below him as he shook his head silently. "Why must we all fight for food....if we could create a connection, we could perhaps feed each other enough to survive, without any more deaths" He thought to himself silently. He squinted his eyes slightly over at Nashoba fighting to two other wolves. He remembered once, that he was offered the role to be the alpha male, why didn't he take it? He decided to decline, because he believed in peace, and that he only fought for food. It was as if he was a mercenary but for wolves. He arched his head back and let out a long howl telling th others of his aproaching form as he sprang from the mountains and started heading down to the snow that was below him. He landed in front of Nashoba as he snarled at the other two wolves. "Nashoba? Are oyu alright!?!" He yelled back at her quickly
65-108501507211 Feb 2005, 04:02 UTC
Sickle moved back, sticking her head in the direction the cry came from.
Fools... she thought.
She looked again to DW.
"What shall we do?" she asked him, her muscles still tense and ready for any attack or order.
Waiting, she turned her head to the snowy landscape ahead. Her eyes scanned, and still the strong scent of the HawkWind Mountain pack stayed.
78-110711749711 Feb 2005, 16:12 UTC
Nashoba glanced back at Nanaki. "Nanaki!" she called out to him, "you've got to help me!"
Nashoba knew good and well that Nanaki was a peaceful wolf, but at times she also knew that there was nothing you could do to stop a fight, and occasionally one was needed. She wished dearly that her pack could have talked it over with the other pack, but it just wasn't meant to be.
Nashoba also knew she could be killed if Nanaki did not come down and help her fend them off.
"We are WOLVES, Nanaki," she said to him, "we are not perfect- sometimes we have to fight. But if you truly think you are fighting for the right thing, it takes away a little of the guilt... you know you have a good reason...." her voice trailed off as she pointed her ears towards the two wolves again.
What she said was true, but occasionally she wondered if SHE, herself, had a good reason to fight the FireBend Valley.

GAME NAME: Toronado (tore-oh-NAH-doh)
GENDER: Male
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Orange-ish eyes, light grey coat, white toes (like Simba's foot markings [TLK]), black ears, some white hairs on muzzle (not a solid marking), and a large scar going down the left side of his neck
ooc: Is that alright?
78-110711749712 Feb 2005, 23:10 UTC
OoC: that's fine
BIC: 'Toronado! I need you!' she called, glad to hear him prowling along the mountainside. Now if only she could get Nanaki.
78-110650140313 Feb 2005, 00:51 UTC
Toronado perked his ears at the sound of his friend and co-leader, Nashoba. His piercing yellow eyes searched franticly through the trees for her. Alas, there she was, alone and near being attacked by... FireBend wolves! Suddenly a snarling, bristling ball of fur, Toronado charged down the slope to Nashoba's side. He skidded to a halt beside her and lowered his head, sharp white fangs unsheathed. "Whatever you have in mind," he growled. "Think again, you fleabags!" His tail lashed back and forth in annoyance.
65-108501507213 Feb 2005, 05:58 UTC
Sickle was growing impatient, but she knew only to move when the leader ordered. But he was taking a very long time...and where was the rest of the pack? Did they just suddenly decided to back out? No. They were loyal. Well, most of them. She snarled lightly, her tail twitching back and forth. Her ears twitched, picking up sounds of the wolves and other animals nearby. She licked her chops, and sighed. Was DW thinking about an attack?
78-110711749713 Feb 2005, 17:37 UTC
"Well, then, glad you could make it," she said. Her head was lowered to eye-level with the FireBend Alphas and her ears were pricked forward. Her face wrinkled into a savage grimmace and she snarled at them, her white teeth flashing threatningly beneath her black lips.
"Should we attack? These dogs* are too afraid to make the first move."
OoC:
*Dogs- a name wolves call other wolves when they wish to insult them. 'Coyotes' and 'DayWalkers' have the same effect.
BIC:
Nashoba could feel her own hot blood pulsing through her veins, aided by adrenalene. She was ready to fight, to shed her own lifeblood for her pack and terra. She wanted to lunge into the throats of the FireBend Pack, to leave them dead upon crimson snow. If they did not move soon she would make the call for battle. She had no reinforcement at the moment, but neither did they. *Fair enough* she thought.
78-110650140313 Feb 2005, 21:15 UTC
Toronado laughed harshly. "Ah, yes, seems the pups have indeed grown even more cowardly since our last meeting," he taunted. The wolf lifted his head and forced his ears forward. "However, I'll give them the opportunity of fleeing before a fight breaks out. We don't want to hurt their tender pelts, do we?" he sneered. Hoping that they would just back down now, Toronado kept his eyes focused on them in a hard stare. But he knew that the rivalry between the packs was too strong; neither would ever admit to being more submissive.
78-110711749713 Feb 2005, 21:58 UTC
Nashoba knew what Toronado was doing, and that each pack was as agressive towards each other as the next. She wished desperatly that they WOULD back down, but it was only a hope, not a plan- the FireBend Wolves were not the cowards the HawkWind Alphas called them, and they knew it.
She glanced towards Toronado to check his position, but was careful not to take her eyes off the other wolves for too long. ''Should we?'' she asked.
68-108173602514 Feb 2005, 03:18 UTC
DW, got ready to attack, sence now that the alpha male came. He order his pack to be ready. " Remember what we been through " spoke DW. He got his tail ready to position it for the attack.
65-108501507215 Feb 2005, 05:36 UTC
ooc: We need some members for the FireBend Valley pack...*cough* @_@;
bic:
Sickle smirked, her teeth gleaming as her sickened smile grew larger. Now the leader was ready. Her eyes darted back and forth, from DW to Nashoba. Her breath increased, and her heart raced. She took a step forward, he tail lashing in annoyance, as she was anxious to rip to intruders apart.

Snow had heard the comotion and rang from her cave.
"Whats going on?"
She looked down at the other wolves.
"Grrreat."
As she said this her fur on her neck stiffened.
"Company, I was just about to go off and feed, but they always say its better to fight on an empty stomach."
Her tongue hang from her mouth with a drip of saliva which fell to the ground.
78-110711749715 Feb 2005, 16:38 UTC
Nashoba didn't look back, not now that she was face-to-face with the enemy alphas, but yet she knew that Snow was behind her.
'We need back-up, Snow. Glad you could come.'
83-106196074815 Feb 2005, 17:15 UTC
"Not a problem, I howled for the others, they will be along shortly. Whats the plan?"
78-110711749715 Feb 2005, 21:03 UTC
'Not anything we can discuss out in the open,' Nashoba growled. 'You know- the.... -usual-.'
So far so good, in the alpha female's mind. She and Toronado would have given Sickle and DW a run for their money just standing alone. Now the HawkWind wolves also had Snow, and Nashoba was perfectly aware of what a fierce fighter Snow could be.
Nanaki would most likely be absent, but she hadn't counted on him in the first place. *Why do I even let that Day-Walker remain a part of this pack?* she asked herself. *He should either be loyal or in exile, no in-betweens.* Nashoba and Toronado ran their pack tightly and smoothly, and thus had become one of the post powerful wolf packs in the land. They generally all lived good, long lives with plently of elk and buffalo and a good-sized peice of terra. The only other ones who were as powerful were the FireBend wolves, and now in this famine even they, the wolves of the HawkWind Mountains, were forced to fight for the rights to the elk and buffalo herds.
*But soon this will all be over.* Nashoba thought to herself. *Yes, soon enough. And if I die, then so be it. My spirit will haunt the mountain range and forbid the tresspassing of the FireBend wolves even in death.*
83-106196074817 Feb 2005, 19:43 UTC
Snow was on edge, she hated anyone new or unknown. But she could wait because it would be worth it in the end. She looked at Nashoba who was deep in thought.
"You ok?"
78-110711749717 Feb 2005, 19:48 UTC
'I'm fine Snow, how about you?' Nashoba was getting annoyed now. When would they make a move? She was ready to go, to tear and to be torn. But when? She had the courage, but what she needed was an agreement.
'Toronado, let's move.'
78-110650140317 Feb 2005, 22:36 UTC
Toronado nodded his shaggy grey head wordlessly. He screwed up his face in a vicious snarl, as he began to stalk foxlike towards the opposing alphas. He turned his head back about 45 degrees, and barked something back to his packmates. "As easily done as said." He halted a few feet before the other wolves, lowered his head, and crouched low to prepare for a spring at the enemy... blood raced through his veins like thunder...
65-108501507217 Feb 2005, 23:55 UTC
Sickle emitted a warning snarl to the wolves, her fur bristling now. She looked quickly to DW, moving forward only a little as the HawkWind wolves crept closer. She pinned her ears back, letting her sharp, gleaming teeth show. The blood raced through her veins, and her tail lashed back and forth. Her eyes were set on the alpha fem.
78-110711749718 Feb 2005, 18:58 UTC
Nashoba could feel her muscles become tense, and yet in her heart there was a certain relief. After this... no more FireBend wolves, no more problems.
She was the first to attack. She leaped at DW and firmly grasped the top of his neck with her fangs, snarling viciously, front legs locked around his torso, claws tearing into his skin.
The battle was on.
83-106196074818 Feb 2005, 18:58 UTC
Snow brought up the rear. She had both her alphas in sight and was prepared to defend them, her and what she had come to love, her home. She trotted slowly more behind Nashoba than tornado, and she kept out of the opponents view, ready for a surprise attack. Snow was always very calm, right up to the last minuet before attack mode, then there was no stopping her. She reached some thick bush where she could smell and hear the enemie.
78-110711749718 Feb 2005, 19:02 UTC
Nashoba glanced in Snow's direction. *Good* she thought. Snow was a good warrior, and possessed a certain, clam, grounded sate-of-mind even in moments like these- a certain state-of-mind Nashoba envied but would never quite have.
Aware of Sickle to her left side Nashoba released DW from her grasp and started towards her.
78-110650140318 Feb 2005, 20:16 UTC
Toronado charged forth, a short warlike howl escaping from within his throat. Nashoba had already been at DW and was now going for Sickle-- not wanting to give DW a chance to recover and fight back, he pounced him him, fangs sinking into the wolf's shoulders. But he didn't stay on top for long; losing his balance after the sudden leap, Toronado fell to the ground, his back "breaking" his fall, but more importantly exposing his soft underbelly. He struggled to get up for a moment, legs flailing. Quickly guarded once more, he looked up to see DW's reaction.
65-108501507219 Feb 2005, 05:14 UTC
Sickle growled and snarled, her fur bristled and her eyes staring upon the trespassing wolves like frozen crystals. She leapt to Nashoba, tearing a deep gash in her shoulder as she fought for her leader. Where the heck was the pack?
No good daywalkers... she thought for a split-second.
Again, she growled, backingo ff as Nashoba came for her. She owuld never give up this land. It was hers. She bared her gleaming snow-white teeth, and lunged for Nashoba. A sharp tooth caght the wolf's shoulder, and sharp, black claws dug into the belly and neck. Her growls and snarls were loud and sharp, and blood was sprayed everywhere as she fought.
83-106196074819 Feb 2005, 11:34 UTC
Snow lept for Sickle and using her body mass, nudged her off of Nashoba. She bared her fangs, snapping at sickles heels. She lunged for a leg and bite down hard til she heard a yelp and dropped the leg.
"I will hurt you if I have to, you dont want to be within biting range of me, back off our land!" She growled.
78-110711749719 Feb 2005, 15:53 UTC
She found herself lying on the crimson snow, a deep gash on her side oozing blood. Quickly she leapt back onto her feet, adrenaline numbing the pain so significantly that Nashoba hardly realized she'd been hurt.
Leaping back towards Sickle, Nashoba quickly severed the lock of claws and fangs between Snow and the FireBend Alpha.
'Thanks, Snow.' *What would the pack ever do without her?*
With Sickle down for the moment her attention turned towards Toronado and DW. Toronado had taken a sharp fall and she rushed over to gaurd him from DW as he recovered his stance.
She looked the FireBend AlphaMale fiercely in the eye, almost challengingly, warning him to keep away. For a moment she thought she saw something in his eyes she'd seen in her own reflection,- perhaps that was what she was seeing- a certain pride and fierceness of a wolf defending everything they held dear. A second look brought her back to the reality of the battle and she lunged at him, catching him in the throat.
65-108501507220 Feb 2005, 07:22 UTC
Sickle snarled and licked the blood from her lips. She looked to Nashoba, and quickly back to Snow.
"Your land? It belongs to the FireBend pack! Fool!" she snarled viciously, and luned at Snow, her fangs bared and ready.
She slammed into Snow, her feet wildly kicking. Her teeth sank into Snow's back, and she would not let go.
"Take your foolish pack and alphas off of this land!" she demanded.
83-106196074820 Feb 2005, 15:43 UTC
Snow hunched her shoulders and although in pain she pushed sickle towards a rock and sandwiched sickle.
"I pity you but I am not afraid."
She gave a swift nudge against sickle to release her grip from snow's back.
"You fight well,"laughed Snow.
Snow felt the pain burn her back but she had worse.
Deep down Snow was tired of always fighting for her home but she would do anything for the pack.
78-110650140321 Feb 2005, 00:30 UTC
Toronado shook his head vigorously, then looked about to see that DW was no longer a threat to him. He blinked, trying to decide what to do next. He noticed, with fresh anger heating his veins, one of the Firebend wolves latched onto Snow's back. The grey wolf blustered over, eyes wild. "Your fangs go any deeper, and you'll have something biting your back!" he barked at Sickle, the sneer on his face becoming more defined. He crouched low so as not to expose his soft underbelly.
65-108501507221 Feb 2005, 06:03 UTC
Sickle growled again, and barked quickly at DW. Where was the pack? She was growing quite aggravated, and she felt disgusted the pack wasn't helping. She felt pain as Snowsmashed her against the rock, sending a few shards down. She growled again, and with her full power pushed Snow back and grabbed onto her beck again. She looked to Toronado with her gleaming eyes. She snarled at him.
"Back off! I'll get you good!" she snapped at him.
83-106196074821 Feb 2005, 20:37 UTC
"Back again are we!!" Snow growled.
She used her body weight and rolled onto sickle who released her.
"Enough!!" she snorted.
"This is not the way to settle this, we must come to an equal agreement," snarled snow, hoping her pack was behind her.
"For a long time we have fought for this land, we both have plenty of food lets not cause more bloodshed. Settle it now."
Snow stood, slightly off balance but keeping steady and proud.
65-108501507221 Feb 2005, 22:07 UTC
Sickle growled as the weight of Snow forced her to let go. She looked up to the wolf, still snarling and baring her teeth. She listened, for once. But she was not one to admit someone was right - she hated doing that sort of thing. She let Snow back away before she got up, a bit of blood staining her snow-white pelt. Her fur was still bristled. It was the logical thing to do, but Sickle wanted to make sure she was still top dog over these other members and omegas. She lunged at Snow again, almost ripping a small part of the flesh and fur off. She licked her lips, and moved back, her gaze hard and focused on the wolves around her.
78-110650140322 Feb 2005, 17:30 UTC
Wild fire shined in Toronado's eyes. It took all his self-control to not fling himself at Sickle. "Snow is right," he growled through gritted teeth. "This time. This battle is over, but the war is far from!" The wolf straightened up, his chest puffed and his head (and tail) high. "We should be returning to our dens for now." Softer, he added to Snow, "We'll get you fixed up soon..." Toronado made to go back up the slope, but stopped. He looked at the HawkWind pack members, waiting to see if they'd come with him. "Next time," be breathed softly to himself, shooting a savage glare at Sickle.
83-106196074822 Feb 2005, 17:54 UTC
Snow winced in pain as blood oozed from her new wound.
She turned and glared at sickle.
"You'll pay for that."
She held herself high and walked behind her alpha's, turning and growling occasionally. She thought that sickle would settle it properely, but obviously the time to talk was over.
65-108501507223 Feb 2005, 00:57 UTC
Sickle glared again at Snow. She pinned her ears backward, and watched as the wolves left. Blood dripped from her mouth, and also there were patches of it that stained her pelt. She didn't care. As long as an agreement was made, or the wolves destroyed, she would be fine. She looked down quickly, the hatred burning inside of her.
You'll pay for your foolishness... she though to herself, when she was quite foolish herself.
She looked to DW. Sighing, she wobbled over to him, and sat next to him.
"What shall we do?" she asked him.
78-110711749723 Feb 2005, 02:15 UTC
Nashoba's heart pounded with rage, daring her to taste the blood of the enemy alphas. Her eyes flashed with fury, the flame of bloodlust roaring on in her heart.
As a pup she had been taught to defend herself. Lone wolves never had it easy. She had fought her way to the top and wasn't about to let it go just like that. She would live to see these lands under her reign or else die fighting for them.
Her hackles rose and her ears flattened. *One more try* she thought. *It's not over yet.*
She pounced upon Sickle and tore into her, ripping, shredding... This was what was needed. Seeking council among daywalkers were the doings of dogs. Her heart may have been stained black as a raven, but as long as the snow was stained crimson with FireBend blood she would let it thunder away into darkness.
83-106196074823 Feb 2005, 11:42 UTC
Snow stopped on th brow of the hill as she heard Nashoba. She turned and saw what was happening. She sighed with tiredness but with the last bit of energy she had she ran down towards the fight. With a growl she grabbed sickles leg and clamped down hard like a vice. Mumuring in the grip she said
"I told you you'd pay, just a little quicker than I thought!"
She started to taste the blood in her mouth and began shaking Sickle's leg violently.
65-108501507224 Feb 2005, 02:06 UTC
Sickle looked to Nashoba, letting out a sudden squeal. She growled viciously, warning the other wolf to step off. When she didn't, she fought back. The blood poured out of her open wounds, but she could care less. She batted Nashoba with a paw, the claws digging into the wolf's flesh as she fought to protect herself.
"You will never have this land!" she howled to the other wolf.
She bit into Nashoba's neck, growling and tossing her head, side to side. She felt herself growing tired, but she wouldn't give up. She twisted her head again, ripping some fur off. Finally, she stood, glaring at Nashoba, her lips stained with blood. Then as Snow came again, she snarled, and swiping the wolf across her face. She was outraged now. Hadn't these foolish ones learned? She lunged at Snow once more, grabbing and limb, forcing the wolf to lose balance. Her leg throbbed with pain, as it oozed blood. She felt herself weaken once more. She quickly looked back to Nashoba, her eyes gleaming, as she lunge to her, ripping into her flesh. Again, her leg counted against her.

Snow shook herself, anger now forced her to carry on, she was determined to teach this wolf a lesson. As sickle went for Nashoba she went for her weak spot, the leg. She clamped down on it hard, not letting go. She dragged sickle across the blood stained snow. She turned the leg and flipped sickle over, pinning her to the floor. Snow put her head close to sickle, muzzle to muzzle, panting hard, snows breathe visiable in the cold, blood dripping from her mouth.
"Give in, accept it you lose, this time," she growled with drool hanging from her mouth. She looked back to make sure her pack was with her for back up.
Snow carried on growling and would not let sickle go, she put all her weight on sickle, she couldnt trust her and was waiting for the next trick she'd pull.
78-110711749725 Feb 2005, 01:20 UTC
She could feel her own lifeblood seep away onto the snow, her body draining itself of life and energy. There was a fierceness in her eyes, a hatred, flaming away into their icy-blue depths. And slowly that flame began to fade, to die. And so did Nashoba.
Her body was torn and shredded and she was beginning to lose her sense of pain, of touch, but she could still taste the crimson FireBend blood on her black lips.
For a moment it was as if some pure, white reasoning was trying to break its way into her heart. Perhaps it was wrong to fight this way over a small realm of terra, wolf against wolf, until none were left. But there was a black defiance still there, mirrored in her darkening eyes. No, it couldn't be so. It shouldn't be. Death was a way of life. There was no other way. It had to be so.
A raven flew overhead. Her time had come.
And then all feeling, all reasoning, burned away into the flaming night of death, and the sun set upon Nashoba's tattered heart.
She felt her strength- and her pain- renewed. And then Nashoba passed away into darkness.
83-106196074825 Feb 2005, 10:56 UTC
Snow dropped sickle and trotted over to Nashoba who was now lying very still. She sniffed and nuzzled her.
"Nashoba?" she whispered.
Then she realised.
"N.........no."
She hung her head and then stood up and howled to the sky.

PACK: FireBend Valley
TIB NAME: BlackThunder
GAME NAME: BlackThunder or BT
GENDER: Male
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: BlackFire has a very shiny, black fur with the mystic yellow eyes. Those eyes could be seen at nighttime but you could not see him. He has some grey marking over his body. He has some white marking on all of his paws. He has inthered that from his father genetics. He wears a wolf paw necklace around his neck. He also has black nose. He has some white fur lines behind his ears. He has a scar on his right eye, which can be visibly seen. He also have a long scar across his chest, which contains the most painful memories for him if someone touch it. Those scars also repsents the nightmares that BlackThunder gets.
66-110927664625 Feb 2005, 16:01 UTC
BlackThunder appeared behind Snow. His face looks scary and mad, that face that BT makes make all shivered of the fear. BlackThunder growled and said "Whats going on here?" BlackThunder walked to the dead wolf and BlackThunder thought "this wolf looks like the wolf that I once knew from my past." BlackThunder stared at Snow and said "why?"
65-108501507226 Feb 2005, 07:15 UTC
Sickle growled, her gaze still locked on Snow. She growled in pain, her teeth clenched together. She felt the blood draining from her, as well as her energy. She growled again, and felt her throat growing sore.
"I will never accept it." she stated coldly, her eyes looking deep into Snow's.
She scratched at Snow's underbelly with her sharp claws, trying to force her over to her side. She managed to make her sway a little, but soon stopped as Snow let her go to see Nashoba. She got up, limping quite a bit. She glanced to the fallen alpha's limp body. She let her head hang, knowing that losing a leader was hard on the pack. But was it a good thing? After all of this bickering and fighting, was it time to give up and just live together peacefully? It was going to be a little hard for Sickle to accept, but she could deal with it. She looked on, past the body, to DW. Was he okay?
83-106196074826 Feb 2005, 22:48 UTC
Snow laid down beside her leaders body and stared at her eyes which were dull and empty. She then looked up at the strange wolf which had appeared.
"She died fighting for what we believe in, hope. Hope that we could maybe live side by side with no-more bloodshed."
She stood and howled for a while.
78-110650140327 Feb 2005, 04:04 UTC
Toronado barely had time to react; he was just beginning to retreat, when the next thing he knew, Nashoba was being killed. No, was was killed. Dead. Surprise and ultimate hurt fell over his features. The grey wolf bounded to his co-leader, his closest friend's body. She was the closest thing he had to a mate, even though they'd never had a single litter, even though they'd never once said "I love you." But they had been leaders together; they shared the same responsibilities and faced the same battles together. Was that all ending now? Toronado lifted his head and stared hard at Sickle. Endless hate replaced his grief. "You did this," he growled, his voice dangerously low, waspish. "You killed her. YOU!" This time he could not stop himself from pouncing on her. His hind legs kicked, rabbit-like, while his jaws gnashed and grabbed at her neck. Before he could cause the skin to break, Toronado fell purposely and stared at Sickle again, his ears almost hidden amoung his thick mane of neck fur. "I... swear..." But he could barely make the words come out. No, Toronado was not dealing with Nashoba's death well. He kept his eyes from watering as he looked back at the lifeless body. "I will avenge you, Nashoba," he whispered to the wolf that was not there.
ooc: Oooh, drama! Peace may not come so easy.
So, Nashy, you magically coming back, bringing in a new character, or leaving? o_O Lol. 65-108501507227 Feb 2005, 07:19 UTC
ooc: Mmm...Nasheh!
bic:
Sickle stayed, thinking hard about what to do. Peace was needed. Soon, the wolves would wipe out eachother, and no one would ever be able to live again because of their foolish bickering. She let her head hang. She snarled suddenly in fright and surprise. Her gaze turned hard again, and the anger flashing inside of her.
"Me? Me?!" she asked angrily. "Your leader is dead because of your foolishness!" she howled in rage, snarling in pain and snapping at Toronado with sharp fangs.
She backed away, watching Toronado. This foolish wolf was keeping them from peace. "You have no one to blame but yourself." she said.
83-106196074827 Feb 2005, 12:30 UTC
Snow interveened. Looking at Tornado, who wasnt taking Nashoba's death well. She trotted up to him and gave him a friendly nuzzle.
"It will be alright, we will pull through we always do. Besides Nashoba would not want another to die because of her death."
She glared at sickle.
"Thats enough for today, we shall both go our own ways now and not look back."
Snow thought of Nashoba.
"Here she will lay as a reminder of today and what will happen if we never live in peace."
She watched and waited for the other wolves to leave so they could be alone with their leader.
78-110650140327 Feb 2005, 19:06 UTC
Toronado slumped. This was his fault, wasn't it? The whole battle was his fault. He was the one who agreed to engaging in the fighting... Nashoba was dead because of him. He nodded slowly and absently. "Right. No more blood shall be shed today," he announced, though he wasn't quite sure of that.
ooc: Ugh... short post... please forgive meh... :P
65-108501507227 Feb 2005, 23:51 UTC
Sickle sighed, and nodded. Snow was right.
"There has been enough blood shed today," she started, turning back to the forest, "and maybe we can all be forgiven."
She looked back, and trodded back into the forest. She was quite hungry, but she was extremely tired. She had many open wounds, and much lost blood. She should rest, and hunt when she was well again.
78-110650140328 Feb 2005, 01:56 UTC
Toronado watched with a heavy heart as FireBend Valley wolves began to retreat. He turned to Snow, studying her face a moment before he said anything. "I guess we'd better get going," he sighed. "I believe some rest for the both of us would be in order. It's been a long day." Not only that, he added silently to himself, but who would fill the position of alpha female? Oh, Nashoba, I need you now, he whimpered in his mind.
83-106196074828 Feb 2005, 13:00 UTC
Snow turned her head from watching the firebend valley wolves slinked away. She looked at Tornado.
"Your right."
She got up and looked at him whilst they walked back to their cave.
"Dont let this tear you up inside, the pack needs you to be strong....I need you to be strong."
She gave a friendly bark at him.
"Its ok to be upset, but Nashoba would not want us to forget about the pack and what we stand for, she will be deeply missed."
As she said this she looked up at the sky, a tear rolled down her cheek.
66-110927664628 Feb 2005, 20:41 UTC
BlackThunder said "hmph! who expectes those excuses.. now if you could excuse me!" BlackTunder walked into the shadows.
78-110711749728 Feb 2005, 22:08 UTC
OoC: Well, I'm not really 'coming back' in the flesh, if that's what you mean, but not a ghost, either. As a spirit guide for Toranado. Lol, happy birthday!... or something.
BIC:
Overhead a large black eagle surveyed the land through two crystal-blue eyes. Her past co-leader was somewhere down there.
She had chosen a path of pain and terror, of blood and death. For this she was barred from the SkyTerra until she could teach another the lesson she never learned.
OoC: Sorry, short post. I'll prob. edit, though, and make it longer.
EDIT: Er, scratch that. 66-110927664628 Feb 2005, 23:02 UTC
BlackThunder looked up and smiled and thought "well... i came long way to get my revenge, and maybe i got it today!"
BlackThunder turned around toward where the eagle was.
83-106196074801 Mar 2005, 12:17 UTC
Snow looked up at a tree and noticed an eagle. She stopped and sniffed it, something caught her but then it went.
*No, dont be daft*she thought to herself.
She waited for tornado at the fot of the cave.
Ooc:Blah! short post, the next one will be longer!
65-108501507201 Mar 2005, 17:47 UTC
Sickle walked through the brush forest, tracking deep footprints behind in the snow. Above, she saw the eagle. She studied for a minute, then lowered her head again, and continued on her way. Still, she was curious of what the packs would do. She was tired of the pointless fightning and deaths. Nashoba, somewhat a great leader, had been killed. Many it was a bonus, or not. While thoughts ran wild in her mind, she found her den, laid down, curled up, and fell into a deep sleep.
78-110650140301 Mar 2005, 20:22 UTC
Toronado nodded. He wordlessly began to stalk back through the trees. But something made him stop. (ooc: here's your present, Toro!
He didn't smell it or hear it. No, not exactly. But he could sense it. Toronado turned his head up to study the skies. At first he thought it was nothing, but then he noticed it. An oddly colored eagle - coal black - was there, and it seemed to be watching them. The sight was actually comforting, to Toronado's surprise. The corners of his mouth twitched - he almost smiled. "Do you see that?" he asked Snow without looking at her, gesturing slightly with a forepaw to the eagle. "Beautiful." He let out a sigh before carrying on to the cave. His pained eyes searched Snow's. She seemed to hurt like he, but how could she not show it otherwise? Toronado had always envied her calmness in the face of turmoil. He could only pretend to be so. 78-110711749701 Mar 2005, 21:21 UTC
The eagle began to spiral downwards and stopped in a tree high above. There was Toronado. As he looked up to her, their eyes met, and from that moment on nobody else but he could see the black eagle.
She soared overhead just long enough to catch a glimpse of what used to be her terra, then threw upwards* into the oncoming rainclouds, there to await the next needy cry of the wolf she was now bound to.
She had little feeling now, except for hope- hope that Toronado would not make the same mistakes she had. If so, they would both be cast into darkness. You could only hide from death for so long, and after that there was no going back.
*throw up- a term used in falconry that means the bird goes almost straight upward on a steep incline, usually to get a better veiw of the field/woods/whatever.
66-110927664601 Mar 2005, 21:54 UTC
BlackThunder reappeared and then, Kazi- his raven appeared and landed on BlackThunder's back and said "How you are doing so far, BlackThunder?"
BlackThunder said "nothing, just nothing.. killing, surviving, that all i did so far Kazi." Kazi looked up and said "Aiii, when you will find peace in your life?" BlackThunder looked toward at other wolves that was hanging around to be used part of his territory but lost it long time after a war.
BlackThunder walked toward the group and said "Snow, what you are looking at?" With Kazi still on his back and waited for an answer.
65-108501507202 Mar 2005, 01:26 UTC
ooc: BlackThunder- Aren't you in the FireBend Valley pack? Snow, Toronado and Nashoba are in the HawkWind Mountain pack.
83-106196074802 Mar 2005, 14:00 UTC
Snow looked up at the sky as she swore she saw something, probably nothing. She trotted into the cave and laid down, which took her a while because the pain of her injuries were now becoming apparent.
She looked at Tornado.
"You ok? I know I should be worrying about the future of our pack, but lets think about the present, our pathes will be revealed to us in time."
And with that she yawned, winced slightly and fell asleep.
66-110927664602 Mar 2005, 21:48 UTC
Occ: I am loner, you should know that, i mean you should read my profile.
BIC: BlackThunder looked up and there was nothing and he decided to back off,.. and he started to walk from those wolves and sit from them like a few feet from and let out a sigh, and thinking about his past, and what he should to do. Should he join a pack or perhaps this one?

His left eye is black, with a red iris. Half of his heart was created by dark matter (black), and the other half made from all the spiritual things on earth. Bred to be a warrior and an assassin, he carries many scars from his battles. He has a scar across his right and left eyes. He has no emotions.
87-110773702002 Mar 2005, 22:52 UTC
Wolfen had been watching the wolves from the FireBend Valley and the wolves from the HawkWind Mountains fight for days now, maybe even weeks. He seemed annoyed by the others, and wanted all this senseless fighting to stop. "I guess it it time now to end everything." He said to himself. "I am from the pack of the HawkWind mountains. My pack has been here longer than the pack of the FireBend Valley. My pack deserves this land. We have covered this land with our own blood. If the other pack does not stop this madness, I guess I'll have to do it myself." Wolfen was sitting on top of Mount McKinley at the time. The full moon was out, and Wolfen gained energy from the light of the moon. His coat shone a bright blue from the moon. He jumped off the mountain and ran towards the location to where the wolves of the FireBend Valley are. "It is time for me to end this madness. I must destroy the members of the FireBend Valley. Even if it costs my life." But I first need to meet up with the others members of my pack.
68-108173602503 Mar 2005, 01:39 UTC
DW signaled the attack, he howled for more wolves to join his side. He showed his teeth towards the male. He got his claws out. He was ready to attack.
65-108501507203 Mar 2005, 05:44 UTC
ooc: BT- Oh, uh...it doesn't really say anything, but ok.
DW- The battle's over.
78-110711749703 Mar 2005, 18:40 UTC
OoC: To BlackThunder- Being a lone wolf doesn't mean that you are welcome in every pack- it means you are NOT welcome in ANY pack. I can see if you're just on the borders of our land or decided to join our pack, that's understandable. Not meaning to offend, but let's just try to keep this realistic as far as pack law goes.
To Wolfen: so, are you a spirit wolf or something? Pretty cool character!
BIC:
The black eagle glided along within the rainclouds of the spirit world, not getting anywhere, just endlessly gliding and soaring with waisted effort. Her body began to tire and to ache, but she was forced to continue.
Faintly through the clouds she could see dark shapes form out of the mist. But that part of the world was screened form her by her cloud of darkness.
After her death she had learned of dark spirits and good spirits that made their way through the ends of the earth, coming and going in and out of the Sky Terra. And then there were the ones like her, the ones who were not all bad, but were certainly not all good, who purity had been stained and scarred throughout life.
At that moment she wished more than anything that Toronado would relieve her of her burden and summon her from the clouds of the Sky Terra. She felt a pain on her neck, searing, and realized that she had wished ill against him, for if he was to call upon her that would mean he was in trouble, in need, in pain. Whenever she did something 'wrong' she would feel it- the wound that had cost her her life, burnign against her renewed flesh.
Life had never been easy for Nashoba. Death was even harder.
87-110773702004 Mar 2005, 00:30 UTC
Wolfen looked around himself. He saw the wolves of the FireBend Valley surround him. Wolfen was ready to fight. Wolfen could not die because he was immortal. Both his parents were gods and goddesses of wolves. Wolfen knew that he could not die, but he did not want to fight the pack of FireBend Vallet by himself. "I must rally the others of the pack of the HawkWind Mountains. Then we can take down the pack of FireBend Valley together." Wolfen saw Dark Wolf leap out at him, but he doged the attack. Wolfen ran the other way in a retreat. Wolfen looked back at Dark Wolf and stared directly at him. "I'll take care of you later, Dark Wolf," as Wolfen ran away howling. He must get the other members of his pack.
83-106196074804 Mar 2005, 18:39 UTC
Ooc:Wolfen-No offense but if you have read this thread you might have seen that we have just had a battle and probably will not have another one.........at the moment. Just a pointer, I just try and go along with the story, please dont be mad at me I am just helping!
87-110773702004 Mar 2005, 20:37 UTC
Ooc: Thanks Suma. I guess I'll try and go along with the story from now on. But I still want some action though!
And don't worry, I'm not mad at you. I'm actually grateful for your advice. So thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!! 109-110769783804 Mar 2005, 21:17 UTC
nice game
83-106196074804 Mar 2005, 21:22 UTC
Ooc: Thats ok, Im sure there will be action soon, best to build on a story first rather than starting another fight, your in my pack right?
bic: Snow had slept long enough, she got up, her body ached all over.
"Awwww, that definately hurts!"
She walked to the front of the cave where she saw Tornado and a pack memeber she had not seen in a long time.
"Wolfen, where have you been, we could have done with you earlier....I guess Tornado has told you about our great leader."
Snow hung her head and then looked up at the sky.
"We could really use your guidance now Nashoba, if your up there," snow whispered.
Ooc:A bit lion king-like I know!!!
bic:She looked at Tornado who was elsewhere in mind.
"Honestly...I really am unsure what to do..but Im sure the spirits shall guide us."
78-110711749705 Mar 2005, 03:14 UTC
OoC: Wolfen, so you're like a wolf-god or the son of wolf-gods/godesses? That's pretty cool. Also, you can be a spirit. I'm one, too, so that would be cool to have another spirit-animal.
Also, we need to decide: can spirit-animals (if they wish and are not in a purgatory-like state like Nashoba is) interact with pack members as if they were still alive in the flesh? Lol, pack council time!
BIC:
The clouds parted and the black eagle foud herself eyeing a lonely and worried Snow. She soared downwards and gazed at the wolf. She could help her, somehow, even if Snow couldn't see her- only Toronado could do that.
She racked her brain for an answer, but she didn't need one. She was a spirit now, and it came to her. She circled overehead and cried out in a sharp, hoarse whisper as birds of prey will do, her shadow gliding along the ground towards the NorthWest. 83-106196074805 Mar 2005, 13:28 UTC
Ooc:Nash, I think the spirits would be able to interact with pack members, in times of need to give them guidance.
bic: Snow ears flicked up at hearing the eagle.
"Is that you Nashoba?"
She thought deep down, why would Nashoba still be a spirit and not be in heaven.
Ooc:small post!!!!!!
87-110773702005 Mar 2005, 15:34 UTC
OoC: I think the spirit wolves should be allowed to talk to the wolves. Also, is Nashoba the eagle, I was to lazy to read the past posts of this topic.
BiC: "Who's Nashoba," Wolfen said to Snow. "Is she the leader of our pack? And if she is I need to speak with her. For I too am a spirit wolf, and I have not fully deveolped yet. Maybe she can teach me how to focus my spirit powers." Wolfen was talking to Snow at the time, and was eager to meet Nashoba. "Where is she? I need to speak with her now. I need to unleash my power and rage upon this land. I must end this fighting now." Wolfen laid down on the ground and waited. "Snow, can you please tell me who are the other members of our pack. I think it is time for a meeting." Wolfen put his head on the ground, and closed his eyes.
78-110711749705 Mar 2005, 22:11 UTC
OoC: Actually Wolfen, for now all the fighting is over. And Nashoba was a wolf but she was killed in the battle we just had, and because she had been so cold and heartless during her life she was sentenced to become a Spirit Guide for Toronado and others in her pack, so no, she can't talk to you. Only Toronado can see her. Hope I've filled you in. Anything else you need to know, just ask.
65-108501507206 Mar 2005, 03:59 UTC
ooc: We need more FireBend wolves... >.<;;
78-110711749707 Mar 2005, 23:49 UTC
OoC: Tell me about it. We need more wolves PERIOD. We need more regular wolves- not spirits, god-like, whatever, just wolves (no offense to you, Wolfen). Oh, and Wolfen, yeah, she's in the form of an eagle now. Sorry 'bout that. Just let me know if there's anything else you need cleared up.
And a note to anybody who is reading this but is not a member of the game right now- PLEASE JOIN!

BlackThunder was loner for too long time, and he decided that he could join the FireBend pack, as long there was no war then it should be fine.
BlackThunder said "could I join FireBent pack?
78-110711749710 Mar 2005, 03:34 UTC
OoC: sure you can join. Just post (or re-post) your stats with 'FireBend Pack' in the pack blank. Now all we need are some more HawkWind members.... *hint, hint*
65-108501507210 Mar 2005, 03:44 UTC
Sickle had awoken, now having slept for a little, but still wanted to see what had become of DW. She spotted Fallon and Black Thunder with him. She watched them intensely, but studied BlackThunder further. He seemed to be a loner, but was it safe letting him into the pack? DW would have to make the decision, but still Sickle wasn't too sure. She was never friendly with new wolves. Sighing, she shook her head, returned to her den, and tried to fall asleep.
78-110711749710 Mar 2005, 03:53 UTC
The black eagle sensed that the FireBend Pack was another wolf stronger, another wolf more able. But for once she didn't care. Whoever won or lost, it was how it was meant to be.
She continued to circle towards the NorthWest and cry out to Snow, hoping she would see her shadow or at least hear her. Or, even better, perhaps Toronado would see her.
83-106196074810 Mar 2005, 19:57 UTC
Snow looked up and saw what appeared to be a shadow of an eagle, she knew who it was straight away. She smiled.
"Come back to haunt us hey Nash!"
Snow got up and barked playfully like a pup.
Ooc:Sorry, short post!
78-110711749711 Mar 2005, 18:11 UTC
OoC: that's okay. Lol, I did one, too! Just remember- Toronado is the only one who can see Nashoba. Well, everybody can see her shadow and hear her. Anyway...
BIC:
The eagle let out a long, sharp whisper of joy. Snow had seen her! She circled towards the South, then spiraled back and flew straight towards the NorthWest again and circled.
Surely Snow would get the message. Her shadow flew along the ground smooth and straight as an arrow, guiding them.
She couldn't help but feel enraptured to see Snow again, and for once she almost enjoyed flying.
Being a Spirit Guide was a gift, she realized- a gift to everyone. It saved her from the torment and shame of a life ended by her own mailce and haunted by her own blackened heart, and now it would save the packs... she hoped.
83-106196074811 Mar 2005, 20:51 UTC
Ooc:its fine, i just see her shadow, and sense her presence.
bic: snow could see that the spirit was trying to tell her something but what she could not figure out.
*It will be revealed in time.*
Snow thought about what the spirit had done, she went south and then back northwest......perhaps tornado will know.
*Then he might think me mad for saying such a thing, will not hurt to try.*
Snow went in search of tornado.
66-110927664616 Mar 2005, 00:16 UTC
BlackThunder saw some wolf surveying him and he glared back giving them a message to back off. BlackThunder growled to himself for while and thought "was it good idea to join in this pack?"
BlackThunder looked up when he heard someone say "hey, you there!" BlackThunder looked around and waited for person who said to come out.
87-110773702016 Mar 2005, 21:36 UTC
OoC: I'm a little lost right now.
BIC: Wolfen woke up, as he to heard the sound of Nashoba. If only he could see her. Wolfen saw Snow look up at the sky, towards Nashoba. Fallon, satisfied with BlackThunder's answer got up and she too wandered around the territory. Fallon wasn't really sure what to do either. She saw a mouse and skillfully caught it with her large mouth. She was in the mood for a snack.
