Here is a poem I wrote after my cat G.C. died..
Once I had a friend
No ordinary friend
A grey and furry fried
We played and played together
We had a lot of fun
Until one day I saw him asleep
But no ordinary sleep
Asleep I'll never see him again
This sleep he'll never wake up from again....
These pictures look just like him.....

I am sorry for your loss, I too have had cats the would not come out of there eternal sleep, but Your poem was good though.

That's so sad- I just posted a dedication to my horses. I know it's hard losing a pet. And I know even though you can get more pets, there's not such thing as 'replacing' one, not matter what people may say or tell you, but maybe you'll find another cat you can love like you loved GC- not a replacement, just another friend to help you through.
