lol I've just created this topic in order to update those who are fans of my fanfics of how much is completed on my newest one thus far. First of all, i apologize for such a long wait. My school year has been pretty hectic. And with continuous writer's block, what i thought would only take a few months to complete becomes half a year, so on, so forth.
The story itself is on page 49 at the moment, and that number of pages will continue to increase for quite a bit, but it is nearing completion, so it should not take much longer, hopefully.
Wish me luck and an inspired mind with speedy fingers

I'm not sure, but I think I've read some of your pieces before. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it! Writer's block is horrible, so I'm happy that you've been able to get over it.

Okay ^_^. As I have promised, here is one small, humorous tidbit of Revelation, made especially for the Steele fans =P.
(please note that any previews are subject to changes by editing and corrections)
EDIT: For some reason on this forum, the italics that show when a character is thinking won't show, so i'm fixing that with single quotation marks. Enjoy!

And then I turned my head around to the wolf, smirked, and said didnt your mom say not to walk on thin ice, or at least, stand on it? Right then, the ice made a loud CRACK underneath where I clawed it earlier on that day for my plan, and he fell into the freezing water below Steele said, changing the sound of his voice to relate to the part in the story.
Wooooooow Steele. You did all that throughout the fight and never got hurt? One of his female audience members asked in surprise, recollecting the story in her head. Steele grinned and nodded in reply making the crowd of seven, all newcomers from a random sledding team passing through Nome, ooh and aah in marvel of his strength.
Balto, lying down in a corner of the Old mill listening to Steeles take of his battle against Bitey, laughed in his head when he heard the much exaggerated story and the amazed faces of Steeles listeners. 'First off,' He mumbled in his mind; 'Bitey was a Samoyed half your size, heh and you were so severely wounded from the fight that you had to wear casts for weeks. Actually, come to think of it, if it werent for that thin ice, you wouldnt be here trying to woo a female sled dog team'
Hey. Whos that dog in the corner? He hasnt said a thing the entire time One girl asked in a sympathetic tone. Steele turned his head to Balto, who simply shrugged at the malamute. He was about to speak up and say who he was before Steele spoke for him.
Thats Balto, a stray that I allowed in here for the time being. Steele quickly winked at Balto while the newcomers had their attention on the wolfdog. Balto was confused at first, but got the plan in an instant.
Uhhhh. Yeah. Steele there was being pretty kind today and let me stay in here for shelter. All the females turned their attention back to Steele and swooned over him
Awwwwww, thats such a sweet thing for you to do, Steele!
Youre the nicest, most generous, and bravest dog Ive ever known
Not to mention cute! All the girls giggled at what they had said and continued to flirt with the deceiving malamute.
Suddenly, something landed on top of the roof with a large THUD, making everyone jump in surprise. The girls screamed when the sound was heard, then went silent ominously. After the sound of the impact, small clicks and taps could be heard going slowly across the roof. All the dogs slowly followed the noises with their heads as they moved from one side of the roof to the other, stopping right above the window on the upper floor. Oh my godwhat is that? A female asked as she slowly nudged closer to Steele, all the other girls following her example and huddling close to their idol. Steele quickly looked around at the other girls with a blush, and then stared back up at the roof. Balto had his eyes on the window, a grin appearing on his face instead of a look of fear.
Another thud, this one smaller, was heard, but still nothing could be seen. Then, after a small moment of silence, a quick silhouette leaped through the window and landed on the ground, barely making a sound as his cloak slowly floated onto his back from the fall. His legs were bent and his body crouched from the landing but he slowly stood up and looked at the dogs in the room without a word. All the girls were holding their breath and slowly stepping back from the stranger as he looked at them. He tilted his head to the side a little bit and said one word
.Hello?
The girls shrieked in their highest pitched voices and dashed out of the partially open main door, pushing it all the way open as they all ran down the street squealing.
Steeles jaw dropped as he saw all of his fans run off then turned to Beo with a snarl. Whyd you do that!?
Beos ears lowered. I didnt mean to scare them away. Did they hear rumors about me or something? Steele rolled his eyes; his entire body flopped to the ground. Beo gave a confused look toward Balto, who had been rolling across the ground laughing since the girls ran off.
Whats so funny? Finally, after another few seconds, Baltos laughing came to a slow halt as he looked up at the visitor with a smile.
It was nothing. Steele was trying to flatter a new group of all-female dogs and was succeeding until you dropped in. He said with a hint of a chuckle.
Beo nodded in understanding I seesorry Steele, I didnt know He very slightly bowed his head in apology.
Steele just shrugged with a sigh. Its okay. Theyll fall over for me again the next time I see them.
Yeah, but with all the lies you were telling them I might get prepared for a few slaps across the face. Some dog around townll probably tell them the truth. Balto added, making Beo tilt his head in confusion again.
  What did he lie about?
They werent lies, Balto! Ijust exaggerated a little, thats all. Steele said in defense, making Balto grin.
Like you fighting the WOLF Bitey without getting hurt whatsoever?
Well, he fought like one, didnt he!?
Balto laughed again at Steeles comment and finally gave up. Okay, okayyou should really get used to telling the truth, though, unless you want them to smack you. Anyway
Balto turned his attention back to Beo with intrigue. What brings you into Nome, Beo? I thought youd be right by Kem until your pups were born. Steele nodded, remembering the story of the rescue Balto told to all of the dogs weeks earlier. Beo sighed and looked up through the window he came from.
I wish I could, but shes turned me into the errand boy for today since Kemo cant come into town. His eyes turned to Balto, but his head remained still with a small smirk on his face. She wanted me to ask you how everyone is doing
OOOOoooh, I see. Balto replied with a smile. Well, Jenner and Kala were both just purchased a few days ago by one of Rosys friends in town.
  Oh, really?
Yeah. They both still visit us almost every other day, so its been good.
Alright. Well, how about your new litter? Have they arrived yet?
Balto shook his head. Nope. I think itll be another week or two at most, though.
Alright Beo said with a small smile. I should get back home then. The sooner, the better. His smile turned to a grin as he spoke. He quickly turned to the wall beside the window he jumped out of and ran toward it. At the last moment, before he smacked into the side of the building, he jumped and landed on the wall for a split second with all his paws. Before gravity could force his body back down, he pushed off the wall and jumped again as high as he could, landing safely on the windowsill above. Balto and Steele looked up in surprise at Beo, who looked back down at them and gave out a nervous chuckle. Wow. Heh heh, first time I ever tried that Beo shook his head to return to his normal stern face.
Balto, why dont you come back to my den and hang out for a while? Kemos wanted to talk with you
Balto grinned when he heard the offer. I dont see why not. Heck, let me head back to my place and Ill ask Jenna if she wants to come along too.
Alright. Ill wait for you at the trawler please be as quick as you can With that, he dashed out of the window. Only the sound of his cloak flapping against the wind could be heard as he left.
Do you really think thats the first time he did that? Steele asked, commenting about the wall jump. Balto only grinned as he moved to the front door.
Probably. Beo isnt one to lie about his actions, new or old. He faced Steele once more, unlike some others I know!
Steele jokingly growled. Im working on it. Im working on it Balto could only laugh as he walked out of the Old Mill and headed toward his home.
