I like Aniu best, Balto, Niju, Alue, and Jenna.^^
I liked Jenna alot in the 1st Balto but in WQ she really changes.I did'nt really like the WQ Jenna as much as the other Jenna.

I also like Nava, the typical "wise, old one". I'm so strange for a newbie . . . .
I thought that the "old original" characters have almost lost that spark that they had in the first movie. It would have been nice for an old character to still maintain their old charm. (Boris was close, but he wasn't funny enough in this movie . . . Sorry! *honk*)

I like Aleu. I din't really l;ike Balto 2 cuz it didn't fallow what happend after the first one. all it fallowed wich was Aniu the white wolf. What happend to everyone?! Tyhe streets were dead and in the first crowded. u think other dogs from the first movie would come to see Balto and Jenna's pups?
Both Balto and Jenna, whom were my favorite characters in the first film, seemed like entirely different characters in WQ. That being so, I�d have to say that Aleu is my favorite.

Am I the only one who didn't like Aleu? I didn't like her character design, what was up with her eyes? I didn't like the voice as the character seemed two dimensional and wooden as far as acting goes and I didn't like her actual character mentality, in a word it was silly.
I liked the voice of the polar bears but only because it was even more Londoner than Phil Collins himself lol. I have never seen a pair of cockney polar bears but it made me grin.

The movie could have been better, but that is when you compare it to the original Balto. To be honest to me it was not Balto, not anything like the movie that entranced me in the first place. It was an OK animated feature but not a great one. Put it this way, I can't count the amount of times I have seen the original, but I can count the amount of times I have seen Wolf Quest..
Now that I think about it, Alue was a total brat in WQ!

I agree.Aleu was being a selfish brat that over-reacted when she found out about being part wolf.I wouldn't care much,really.
How could you say that about her?!Sure in the beginning she was sort of,but at the end she wasn't.
Another thing about WQ, its unrealistic. How so? Everyone in Nome knew Balto was half wolf, it was no secret. That being so, wouldn't it make sense that Balto and Jenna's pups would have learned fairly quickly that their own father was half wolf and thus they in turn were part wolf? Nome is a cesspool for gossip, and I'm sure the other dog's pups would have told Aleu and her siblings their origin. Perhaps even tease them for it.
So yeah, I don't see how Aleu couldn't have know what she was, nor do I know why she spazzed out at the news.

I noticed the geography was wrong in WQ too. Nome is about 60 or 80 miles away from the nearest tree but Aleu is being hunted in a forest around Nome. In the original movie you didn't see a tree near Nome.. I have too much time on my hands :P
Now that I think of it,it doesn't make sense.Maybe they thought that we wouldn't find out.

If I [I]had to have a fav. Balto 2 character it would be Niju, I guess. He acted normal like in the first movie even though he wasn't in it, he seemed to be the best character that's not stupid.

Secondly, I just finished watching the two movies today for the first time in a year or so. I have to agree with a lot of folks who say Balto 1 is better, however, I still greatly enjoied Balto 2. Why? Its Balto!! A sad fact is, most movies are over and gone with part one, and we never ever get to see those characters again. Sure we can write stories and rp, but it never 'feels' the same. At the end of both movies I get this feeling of saddness and lonely cause its over, and thoses characters are gone for the time being. Don't get that way with any other movie or show. Maybe I'm just strange, eh? lol
Thirdly, fav character is Alue, yeah sure she's a whiney little girl at the start, but by the end she's wised up quiet a bit, and I would like to see how she and the wolf pack is doing. I also loved Nava, the shaman thing was diffently cool.

actually I liked all of the new characters in balto (except the wolf trio was too retarded, I still liked their personality)
but yeah only Balto was enjoyable in the sequel compared to the returning cast who had no part to play in the story. they shouldve just wiped everybody out or given them important roles in the story

Balto has always been my favorite charecter, but I love Alue in the second movie!
I wish that balto, and jenna and Aleu are given a important and main role of the Balto 2, and i wish i was the producer of it so i can follow the traditional cel like the first balto movie,... peace!

I went in to Wolf Quet with low expectations, so it doesn't really disappoint me that badly. I never expected a DTV, lower budget filmed aimed at an even younger audience to be half as good as the classic original, and I'm just pleased that I still enjoyed it at all. I gave it a year between the last two viewings, and it improved, against my expectations. I just hope I can lower my expectations enough to find something to like in Balto 3.
Minor gripe about the overall design of the new wolf characters, including Aleu: a gigantic chest, tapering to a ridiculously tiny 'waist' and bum. What is that? It seems the standard way to draw animated canines these days.
PS as far as Aleu's eyes are concerned - what about Balto's eyes in the first movie? I'd never seen a character with hexagonal eyes before - or whatever you call that many sides. That took some getting used to. Doesn't bother me now.

i liked Alue.........
My favorite character on the movie has to be Balto. He's a little more rugged and loner-like in that than he was in the first one ^_^. And if he isn't a real loner in b3 (which he probably won't be. Fathers can't be loners...can they?) i want to see a character with said loner personality. Like riddick in wolf form or something lol.
I liked Nava and Aleu the most. �Nava because he was a really competent leader and able to see things as how they are. �Aleu because she expressed her thoughts the best throughout the movie and how she seemed to absorb some of Nava's wisdom at the end.
i liked er..Nava dunno why but I just do but i liked the first movie the best.

I like second movie bacause it was Balto, It was diferent but i was very happy that the story continues.
My favorite character, obviosly is Balto =P and Nava.

The Second movie Like the First one made say No doin't end yet! I wished both movies could have been longer. They were so goodWQ ended on a cliff hanger, there was so much that they could have said. Like, what happend to Nava, did the pack make it to the other side, did Balto get home safly? What was Jennas reaction about Alue leaving! So much could be said, but little was. Thats a big tenfour good buddy, over.

Same here. �I think his master would abandon him instead of shoot him. �He doesn't seem like the type to shoot a dog. �Maybe he took over for Balto as the outcast dog in Nome. �With the cliffhangers, I think the movie would flow so much more smoothly if we saw them, since otherwise, it would seem like WQ never occurred.

Yes but, they can ignore some aspects of the second one, like that the only puppy with wolf characteristics was aleu, or those things...
I hope that the third one would be a good movie, and also answer some interrogations about the first and the second one

My favorite character in WQ would be Balto...Yes, even if he acted differently, it was still the most interesting character with Aleu. But I don't really like Aleu, she is a bit too annoying, I hate the "little girl who don't want to do what daddy says" lol (= TLK2 too) And she has an annoying voice (especially in the french version )
As for B3, apart the fact that Balto's son is from the litter of Wolf Quest, there seems to be no relation with WQ for now...

I liked Nava, because he was extremely wise and wanted to do what was best for the clan. Even though Niju tried to hurt him, he still wanted to go find him in the end. He saw right through Niju to the fact he was afraid to leave. Another thing I liked he said was

Mine was Aleu, she and I as a Wolf have the same personality, additude, and feeling just like her I'm almost alike her ^.^''' somethimes I say "Wher edo I belong" jus tlike she did in the movie

For me it was Balto (of course) Aleu and I think Nava is pretty good too.
My I would say is probally aleu most likely cause she's the only good character in that movie to me
