Looks like the voice work from Balto 2 is returning (I shudder at the idea of Jodi Benson voicing Jenna again)
On an interesting note: Sean Astin from Lord of the Rings is the voice of Kodi

WHY WHY WHY WHY DOES THE UNITED STATES HAVE TO WAIT SO LONG FOR THIS?!!!!! 65-107063589807 Oct 2004, 00:38 UTC
You're a bit late.
But it's good for those that don't know about it.

I can't really remember. But it was posted a while ago somewhere here and possibly at TBL (The Balto League)

I thought Jodi Benson did a good job as Jenna. She has the kind of gentel voice that suits Jenna. Now I wonder if Stella is the Female goose or The Gossipping dog

As far as I know, Stella is Boris' girlfriend.

oi don't remind us. Hmm, I guess I could think on the bright side, maybe she won't be as annoying as in the commercial.83-108302525608 Oct 2004, 06:44 UTC

Thanks once again steetboris
Boris haveing a Girlfriend might not be such a bad thing
I'm sure it will just be a side note to the story74-108043194710 Oct 2004, 18:55 UTC
I read on that interview thing (the one that officially said that there was a B3 in the making) that Kathy Najimy was in it. Maybe she's the voice of Stella? Or perhaps one of the new dogs that was shown on the trailer? . . . . .
(The other goose is Boris' WHAT?! *faints* How did you guys discover this? And her name? *double faints*)

Yes I thought that Jodi Benson did a good job as well for Jenna's voice. Jenna has that sweet gentle voice but then is demanding when she wants to be...

She sounds a bit too . . . . . gentle. Not enough demand . . . .
Listen to some of her other DTV sequel work (including TLM2 with her most famous role's own sequel . . sad . .) and you'll see/ hear some differences . . In other roles, she sounds great, but in some (*coughjennacough*) I don't think so.

The problem with Jodie Benson is that she's already the voice of many other characters in video sequels (Lady in Lady and the Tramp and Anita in 101 Dalmations 2) Jodie Benson in my opinion should just stick to Ariel. She's great with Ariel but that's it.
She also doesnt have the beauty or feministic quality in her voice in Jenna compared to Bridget Fonda

Sean Astin will do a great job for Codi. He did great in LOTR, 50 first
dates, and White Water summer.

Aleusong: She should stick with Ariel! Her voice is most recognized as "the rebellious redhead-mermaid-princess-turned-protective-mother-who-still-looks-sixteen-after-ten/twelve-years-later" Ariel that we all know and love (Love?! What have you been smokin'?).
I guess DTV makers picture her as the beautiful heroine in DTV that really doesn't do much to the main plot.
And she still gets paid?! *faints*
Hopefully we will hear more of Jenna in the movie . . . and Kodi too . . . I hope! *crosses fingers*

My brother is a huge LotR fan.. alomst as much as I am Balto..no wait that isn't possible. Anyway I told him that Sean Astin was going to be in a Balto movie, he almost cried

You know, what is Bridget Fonda doing exactly that makes her unavailable to do Jenna's voice again? They even have Sean Astin which, at this time, is more popular than Bridget Fonda in the general public. I don't see any reason why she couldn't have signed up as well...

If You doin't mind My asking. tears of joy or pain? To Beo: My guess as to why Bridget Fonda didn't sighn on as Jenna is because of money. Where as Shen Astin may have been willing to work for scale
(Like Robin Williams did for Aladdin And The King Of Thieves)80-107376962115 Oct 2004, 18:02 UTC

I also heard that Kathy Najimy was in it. I know that she did the voice of Tilly the hippo in Cats Don't Dance. But in B3, I don't know.. Knowing her voice, the character probably would get annoying after a while.74-108043194722 Oct 2004, 02:49 UTC
Actually, I found out that Jean Smart is the voice of Stella. My guess is that Kathy Najimy is the voice of one of the new dogs in the movie (they were shown in the trailer . . . the "new" trio? maybe)
Maybe people that have already seen WoC can confirm this for us. Right, steetboris and Fluke?
Right?
right?
