Balto3.com ?

Strange...

I noticed something strange : the balto3.com domain name, which has always been (and still is) Universal Pictures property, has now some content. But it's only a page with a logo (geffen). And after a few minutes, I was redirected on the www.geffen.com site, which seems to be a store for audio CDs... ???
What does all that mean? Because this domain name is still under copyright to Universal... :Oo:  according to the database on www.domaine.fr, at least.

www.balto3.com
I don't know but you're right that is pretty strange
Wow that is pretty wierd, and i have no clue why an audio CD store logo is on the page.
I assume Universal owns Geffen or vice versa....and they apparently decided to buy the domain so that it was their property, thus insuring that Balto3.com did not become a fanbased site, which is their right, they can do that to keep things *official*...and rather than use it to make a site about Balto 3...they are using a redirect.
uh...yeah what vesta wolf said  :D
Yes, it seems you're right, aparently Geffen is a division of Universal Music or something like that. But that change mean they haven't forgotten this domain name (the redirected wasn't there only a few weeks ago) and that they will probably put some Balto 3 content in the near future.  :)
yeah most likely
My guess is that Geffen Records is a subdivision of Universal.... i knew Universal Music existed, but maybe they changed their name, or merged with another company, and that's why this happened.
Yes, that's pretty much what I said, although Universal Music still exists; but can this mean they will release a Balto 3 soundtrack? It would be SO great...although I highly doubt it would happen.
Well if They do I'll buy it
I think it is a general rule for most of the movies, they will release a soundtrack If they release a movie on cinema, While in a movie that is realeased only in video or DVD a soundtrack is higly unprobable.
It is pretty much a rule.  I think Disney and it's TLK franchise are very rare exceptions to that rule.  But that doesn't mean you can't find ripped MP3s from the movie and create your own CD.\n\n

Well, I'm not sure how many movie sequels have soundtracks released, but a B3 soundtrack sounds like a good idea, even if it probably won't happen.  It seems Universal doesn't have much devotion to the Balto franchise.
Or they could release a sing-along video . . . .

(Stop there . . .)
never mind . . . that was a stupid answer . . ..
I wish they release a Balto 3 Soundtrack, the music is awesome (so good like the first). But I think they won't do that  :(
The only way they'd probably release one is if the public wants one, which probably won't happen since the majority of people either don't remember Balto, don't care, or think it's just a b grade movie series.
hmmm... Sequel Soundtracks...

well Shrek 2 , and Toy Story 2 had soundtracks ( but those were theatrical)..

All dogs go to heaven 2 did ( again theaters)

Charlotte's web the original .. I've seen a few songs on record but that's it.. haven't seen anything regarding a Charlotte's web 2 soundtrack ( shoot, I didn't even know there was a C.W 2 till last year )

Brave little toaster sequels.. err .. I doubt it ..

Swan Princess and Ferngully sequels.. unlilkely..  Swan princess 2 maybe since it was in theaters..

Joeseph :King of Dreams.. Dreamworks obviously didn't care about it's DTV department so no..

Secret of Nimh 2 .. I've seen the CD on Ebay.. don't know who would buy it .. icky sequel

An Amercian Tail :Fievel Goes West  been on CD.. the other two sequels don't exist in my mind..

Land Before Time: are you kidding me?! you got those bleeping sing-a-long songs use that..

I wan't a Balto 2 CD though :(
Yes a CD fof "Balto" 2 And 3 would be nice
hmm...that is strange...I'm sure they will add on to it in the near future
