Finally being half German has come in handy....my grandparents are from Germany and they have bought me the Balto 3 DVD!!! I am soo happy and I must thank them most greatfully!!!
I can't wait till it arrives at my place...
Fluke: I have a question for you...what kind of DVD do you have is it the German one...then how did you play it...On you DVD player or Computer DVD drive.....

It works fine on my computer DVD drive and my DVD player as I share the same region code (2) with Germany and the rest of Europe.
If you put it in your computer DVD drive, the region may change for you but be careful as you can only change the region code about 4 times before it locks forever on that code. You might want to try a program like DVD Genie that changes it for you..but be careful and research it all properly before you do it because it doesn't always work! I don't want you to break it on my advise.. Infact don't take my advise :P

I wonder why Germany got the movie before US? I remember when Wolf Quest came out Fluke mentioned it was not in Europe yet, only in US.

The reasons why Universal decided to release it in europe first aren't still very clear; it sure is a good thing for us europeans, who are used to get everything months later. BTW, you're right, WQ came out much later in europe than in the US (8 months later in France! )

*oh no she's about to moan about the fact UK release isn't till ages again* UK still normally get it later then other european countries though.....
