Characters in Balto3?

Well,
I hope to see Steele again.. kinda missed him in Balto; Wolf Quest..

What really happened to him in the end of the first movie.. and the other ones?..hum.

Yeah, so do I. The characters in the 1st movie did so well. But honestly whether they'll be back depend on the outcome of Balto 3. If it's a prequel we might probably be seeing them, heck maybe even Balto's parent, or him as a pup. That's gotta be cute *cuddles*. OTOH, if it's another sequel well we might as well see new ones. But one thing I expect is wolves. They'd probably bring in more wolves. :biggrin:

Balto: just a few... 3,4,5 maybe 6...
Balto 2: A whole pack...
Balto 3: A battalion of them! ^_^;  

I too would like to see Steele in "Balto 3", as well as Nikki, Kaltag, and Star, and maybe some of the other town dogs. It would be great seeing some old faces again.

If "Balto 3" is a sequel, I think it would be very cool if it began like the original, with two dog teams racing, except that this time Balto would have a dog team of his own, and he would be racing against Steele(or maybe some other dog).  

Balto must be a sled dog, because the first movie seems to imply that he is to become one.

It's my idea that we never saw Balto as a sled dog(or sled wolf dog)in WQ because the majority of the film takes place in spring and summer, and I have never heard of dogsleds being used in any season other than in winter.

That's a pretty good explaination of why we didn't see sled dogs in Balto 2, Aniu. �However I did see a special on Animal Planet on how mushers keep their huskies in shape during the summer... �

Getting on topic, if Balto were to go back to sled racing (so to speak), in the upcoming movie, it's still be a bit akward. �It seems to be that after Balto brought the medicine home, and everything was okay, that Jenna was his immediate interest. �Wolf Quest sort of confirms it when Balto spends much of his time with Jenna, and Aleu. �Throughout the whole movie he never once remarked about his heroic deed, or wanting to still race. �

I know the movie focus on wolves, but there were lots of opportunities to bring that fact up. �After he left Aleu to her destiny he still seemed content to go back to Nome, to Jenna. �It just felt as if his racing days were over, to me anyway.

But it's just speculation on my part. ^_^;

I was always curious on why Balto didn't live with Jenna and her family... rejected (doubt it)? pride (*shrugs*)? Not used to it (maybe)? Staying w/ Boris(ehhhh...)? Universal liked the boat(beats me)?
When the movie ended in Balto2 we didn't know whether Aleu made it to the other side or not >.< o.O... also, Balto has not been confirmed to make it back to Nome(yet another Bear attack?)... aside from my werid ideas (:P) How can Universal start to treat Balto more like a semi-bugs bunny show? (ex: Muk and Luk going down the hill on the log.... Boris booting that yippy dog over the fence). I mean you can get humor w/o making things unreal physically (though the part where Steele falls off the cliff and immeditaely gets up is kinda off >.<)
  Back to the topic... I really hope balto 3 shapes up a huge knot from Balto2, hopefully equal or better than balto1 (doubt it). And I want to see the old characters return... (Moris (code dog) anyone?).  
   As to the first question I asked I think Agent99(fanfic author) did a pretty darn good job at summarizing some thoughts on why Balto didn't live in the town (if you want link to story you can post for it).

P.S. who would acutally like for the rating of Balto to be raised in order to put more emotional and contrivertial stuff behind it? also the damage to can be seen characters way (scratches to be visiable) ....I still can't spell >.<

Balto 3 O.o.... if they DO make one.... hopefully they shall do a better job on it than they did Wolf Quest >.o Yesh, it was okie... but it didn't follow what I hoped it would be... *sigh*....

So, prequel would be my more desired option....  Show how the origanil teams got together, meetings of chars, histories, etc. Why such and such was the way it was etc.... ((*note: is rather fond of prequels))

I thought WQ was Excellent and also hope to see all of the original cast..u know what cast i'm talking about right.lol.:);) I hope that Balto 3 is as good as rumored..

Balto 3... hrms.. well, I hope it is better than Balto 2, the second movie was alright, but gads.. the animators seemed to screw up A LOT, as if they didnt care on WolfQuest.. O_o just my opinion, a prequal would be awseome.. but animators never seem to think on things along that line, they seem to keep pushing forwards, instead of digging into the past. Somtimes the past, can be a good thing..?

Seeying the original characters, with their original character design would be nice.. Balto's newest design unnerved me, as well as Niju's, and the other wolves, they made poor Niju look more /bearish/ than wolfish, I mean.. he looked like a poor hunchback ~_~ and as big of a fan of wolves as I am, they degraded the poor canines. *Pets Niju* Balto 3 better be better than the second, but nothing can out do the first, and best Balto ever, Long live the almight wolfdog hero!

To tell you all the truth I really wish that they would not make a 3 well there shouldn't have even been a 2 I think that it will proably be some kind of presequal as well I just hope they do a better job then they did on wq

I agree..They need to do a more Quality job on Balto 3
though my opinion has not changed on Balto 2 and it probaliy never will ether....Alex...

I wonder what happened to balto's daughter. It would be cool if they finished off some unanswered questions like that and others.

And the rest of the pack...&IMO.I Think that all of the oriignal cast should return...that will really bring back
a lot of memories..wouldn't it guys???...

If they want to make a good movie, they should not go into it with the intention of bringing back old characters or answering questions from Wolf Quest. They should just sit down and write a good script, without worrying about which characters are involved. I personally don't care whether or not I ever hear another word about Aleu again. All I ask is that, whether she is or isn't in Balto 3, it works with the plot.

I agree with you, Alex.  I would just love to see some of the original characters in the next "Balto" movie.  That would be really cool.  I am hoping that the setting of the movie will be in winter, and that it will be a prequel.  It wouldn't matter to me if the film was dark, as it would be a nice change from the stereotypical 'happy ending'.  And yes, it would be nice if they could improve the quality of the animation, even though it isn't that bad in WQ.

A presequal I don't know I think it would be kind of depressing I rember Ac I think it was Ac that a Presequal to Balto would be sad mainly beacuse he would proably lose his parents but you know something it would be kinda neat to see Balto as a pup I said kinda
