If they're really doing a Balto 3, I just hope that they put the original trio in it. I miss Star soooo much! I know he's considered a "minor" character, but compared to the trio in Balto 2, Star, Nikki, and Kaltag were very 3-dimensional. Anybody agree?

Nikki, Kaltag, and Star added alot to Balto. I think the one of the biggest things that hurt WQ was they introduced too many new characters. It became impossible for anyone to relate to the characters.

Balto and boris go to london by sneaking on a plane, and they meet all 101 dalmations and have alot of fun. Jenna starts to fall for Thunderbolt, and Balto get really P.Od at her. Jenna has a few pups with Thunderbolt, and hides them from Balto. They are really cute little German Shepard wolfies! Balto finds out, and is horrified! He turns on Jenna and never speaks to her again. He and Boris go skulk in an alleyway. Then balto sees a FEMALE GERMAN SHEPARD that is a stray, and falls in love with her! They have puppies. Boris is al sad that he has no girlfriend, and then my dream ended, like I had to turn the movie off or something.
It was wierd, cuz while I was dreaming, it felt like I was REALLY WATCHING A MOVIE! And the animation was also as good as Balto # 1.

I liked the chacter desighns but they never stayed on screen long enough for me to like the chacters themselves. I hope they work on that with Balto 3

wow jewelswulfe, that is quite a dream. And as strange as it sounds, that would probably have been a better story than WQ in my opinion.

This caused a problem because not only did we (the viewers) have to determine their different personalities, but the characters had to do the same.
You're actually quite right about that. One could easily see the intended replacements. Not only did they try too hard, but it just didn't worry out as well. If they had given the characters fresh roles, I'm sure the movie would have also went smoother. After all, Sumac, Nuk and Yak are poor replacements for Nikki, Kaltag and Star. =/
Nijou is Steele's replacement, but I thought Nijou was cute! He looked sorta like a kitty-cat!

I agree that Nikki, Kaltag and Star should return, and it would be great with a Balto/101 Dalmatians crossover too!

I am intrigued by what I am hearing about Balto 3. That the original writers are pitching in and it involves his son (I think..), this sounds very interesting to me. I have only recently began my catchup on the boards, and what I hear more and more about Balto 3 really has me interested. I'm just hoping it isn't as stale and..well..strange as WQ was. I'm begging for a little better coloring and animation for Balto 3 than for what WQ was.

What are you talking about, Echo-husky? WQ had an amazing story! And the animation was wonderful! Well of course this is just IMHO, but I really did think it was a very good movie! One of the best! Not a disappointment at all!!
-shudder- Doing a crossover with 101 Dalmations is just setting them up for trouble. Universal has always been able to do better films than Disney. Disney is just getting so...blah.

The animation was alright to me in some scenes.
I also miss Nikki, Kaltag and Star, they were great. 
I miss Star too.I hope that Alue is in it. it bugs me to think about what happened to her and the others and if she is ever gonna have pups of her own.I really don't think the trio is gonna be in it guys.
Well, if our guys aren't in Balto 3, there is always fanfiction, although I wish that more ff would feature the Trio.

All I want are decent looking wolves. I could careless about the Trio. Although, I miss the dog sled racing.
And hopefully there won't be any stupid,pointless songs,like in WQ.But, I still like WQ. Anyway, THEY BETTER NOT RUSH IT,AND HAVE BAD ANIMATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
