I was just wandering if you guys have any ideas for the next Balto 4. If we can come up with enough ideas, we can send them into universal studios, and hopefully they will take some of our ideas and put them into the movie. This is just and idea, but we can just have some fun with our own ideas. I think they should make a prequel to the Balto series, and make Balto 4 focus on Balto's childhood.
I'll let you guys start. Any ideas for the next Balto movie and future Balto sequels?

I think, Balto meets up with the rest of his pups, and remembers a little of his childhood.

Things I'd like to see in the next "Balto" movie Are Steele returning(And Balto kicking His Tail
), A romance between Kodi and Dusty, to see how Aleu is is doing, And to have Balto go live with Jenna. I also like the Idea of a Prequel, and seeing Dingo, Saba and Balto and Jenna's other Two Pups 74-108043194726 Feb 2005, 07:02 UTC
I think everyone knows what I want to see as a most-likely closing point of the series: Balto's puphood.
I'd also like to see the following things as well:
- Balto's dad (his real one; not his adoptive goose daddy, Boris!
- No more Boris, Stella, Muk and Luk! (I think that they would go off on their own, since finally Boris has his perfect family now, with Stella and the two bears)
- Pre-Balto life in Nome (that would be an interesting thing to see! Add a bit of a younger Steele and Balto's daddy . . . yeah)
- How Balto's dad met his mate AKA Aniu (currently dead but alive in spirit?)
- What happened to Aniu and Balto's dad afterwards (exclusion? exile? What?)
- Um . . . Balto siblings? (yes! I think that would be nice)
- Check on the other pups (Balto's children, like Kodi, Aleu and the other four; just a brief glimpse, not a whole movie please!
- No songs sung by dogs/wolves/anything other than background singers (blame this on Stella's song from WoC mainly)
That's it for now . . . This list might change in a while or so! 87-110773702026 Feb 2005, 14:56 UTC
I like your ideas guys. I also enjoyed hearing a little of your ideas Juuchan17. The only thing with what i disagree with you is, that i think they should keep the songs. I know you did not enjoy the song in WoC by Stella. I didn't like it either, but they should keep the songs. I think they should let James Horner, make some of the songs. They should also add some inturmental music as well. I think that the next movie should focus on all of Balto's history:
-parents
-family
-childhood
-how Balto got seperated (that would be good
)
-and some other cool stuff.
Thanks for your ideas guys.

I've got an Idea, why don't they make a singalong DVD or VHS, and save the good song's for the movie!!!! lol

I'd like to see the Balto childhood: his mom, dad (is he still alive?), when he met Boris and the young Steele. I'd like to see what's heappend to Aleu too.
78-110711749726 Feb 2005, 17:35 UTC
Id love to see Balto's siblings, if any. You know, maybe he could find one of them and learn about his past. I would like to see Togo in animated-Balto form, maybe as Steele's brother who could tell them about what happened to Steele.
Now, I know there a lot of big Steele fans out there, and I'm not one of them (I like him well enough), but I WOULD like to see him return or at least learn what happened to him.
I would enjoy a check-up on Aleu, too, maybe some of the other pups as well.
Also, Nikki, Kaltag, and Star (aka 'the trio' ) need to make actual appearances before Universal cranks out any more canines to take their place.
And Wolfen, check out some of the other threads in this section, because there are a lot of good ideas there, too. So far I like everybody's ideas, except that I agree the songs should be left out, unless they are in the background. And if they were the right 'style.' I wasn't too crazy about the jazz-type music in Balto 3 they had in some scenes (mainly the slippery ice scene).
Just my 2 cents!

He never really made songs but the instrumental scores. Unfortunately, even if they could bring him back, he didn't do anything good since Titanic...
87-110773702026 Feb 2005, 20:30 UTC
To Nashoba- Yeah i really didn't like the jazz type music in Balto 3. And yes i have found several other ideas that would seem to fit. Thanks for you ideas Nashoba
To steetboris- I know James Horner only made the instrumental music in the first Balto. I think he made good songs in Balto. Like the "Heritage of the Wolf" song. He did compose that song right? And wasn't it played by the London Symphany Orchestra? Ohh well.
Thanks guys.

Yes and Yes. I thought the swing music was out of place for The River scene as well, But I think it was used to make the mood of the scene lite and funny. To Juuchan17: I don't want Boris and Stella to go to far away. Because the way I see it They can movie into The Boat and then Balto can move in with Jenna
Other than that They don't need to have anything more than a cameo. To Nashoba: It would be awsome to see Togo in the next "Balto" movie
If a Prequel is done one thing I'd like to see in that is how Balto met Jenna74-108043194727 Feb 2005, 04:04 UTC

Watch them make Togo Balto's brother or something like that . . .
Only Universal's crazy enough to do something like that!87-110773702027 Feb 2005, 14:21 UTC
Really, I don't think Universal is that crazy to make Togo Balto's brother. From what I think Universal might only make Togo come back in as another villian (if they made a prequel).
But that would be cool if they made Togo Balto's brother, and they foucsed the next on Balto's history. Then Balto would probably meet up with Togo, and Togo tells him the story of Balto's family and history. I guess that would make a good storyline.
Wolfen 115-110950221427 Feb 2005, 15:49 UTC
I think the 4-th movie should be:
Balto with all his family, sitting inside Rosy's house with a warm fireplace, and starting a flashback about his childhood.
About how he lived with his sisters, what happened to Aniu, how he meet up with Boris etc.
Because the first movie was kinda ambigue about his childhood and this shouldt be left "as it is".
I think that Universal isnt laking ideas for a sequel but they arent concentrating enought about Balto and are concentrating about other movies.
83-108302525628 Feb 2005, 07:46 UTC
I think of Togo's part in the movie as a friendly rival to Balto, Leading an oppsing Dogsled Team. To shdrex: I agree with You, Universal should concentrait on "Balto"
87-110773702028 Feb 2005, 13:14 UTC
To shdrex- I really like your ideas. They seem pretty good. I also agree with you. Universal, should concentrate on Balto, and not other movies. I think that the next movie should be about Aleu's life on the other island.
Wolfen~ thinks.

i want to see balto when was puppy
75-111045797911 Mar 2005, 02:24 UTC
I think we all agree that seeing Balto's 'puppyhood' would deffinately be 'The Cat's Meow', as they said in that era. I would personally like to see how Aniu and Balto's Dad met, fell in love, what happened to them, and how Balto mt everyone in Nome. Personally, I think it be cool if the clan Aleu now runs made an apperence, with a much younger Nava and all and see if he and Aniu knew eachother, and what he thought of her choice in a mate. I think it be obvious how the domesticated dogs would react.

Yeah. One that answers ALL the questions in the fandom and doesn't raise ANY more! True, it be, like, four hours long, but it would answer everything we've wondered about. Baltos past, how his parents meet, what happend to dear old Dad, how he met Boris, how the bear came along, and what happend to Alue and the other pups.

Yeah, I know (lol- I was working on a 1920's piece for piano last year, very fun song), but it really seemed out of place in some scenes. I do appreciate that they did their research and got music to fit the time period, but especially as they didn't do that in the other two movies it seems... wrong. I hate when they change music-styles in mid-series. (Take Harry Potter for example- the first two movies had a charming, fantastical-enchanting magic-kind-of score, then in the third movie all of a sudden they have all of this medeival-sounding music. Not that I don't like medevial-sounding music -as a matter of fact I love it- it was just out of place. )
So yeah, I would go back to something more like the original soundtrack in movie 4.109-110769783814 Mar 2005, 16:16 UTC

I would have to agree with K9. If Balto were to meet up with his pups and talk about his childhood to them, would make a good idea for the next Balto movie. The only problem is that the movie would be a box set contain several videos. It would take to long. But still it is s good idea.

Some scenes are out of place with the songs and others are not, and you did put Harry Potter in perfect example. Eh, Balto isn't the only music I like. I love Sympathy Orchestra (I think that's the name) They're the best to me. I love all music in all movies. Especially, Nico the Unicorn, it's emotional and imangination music. (Thinks about how it goes again)
