GET MEW

i dont think people would give up their hard earned/trained and whatever pokemon to just get a mew that can easily be obtained via gameshark. not only that, but not that many play pokemon r/b/y

well, this spurs interest back to the old games

Actually, I already have a Mew.  My friend cloned one several times after using a Game Shark and traded it to me for a Taruos.  ^_^;  

But, if I didn't have a mew, I'd give that method a try.  It's been years since i've played either Pok�mon Red or Blue.

yeah i had pokemon stadium 2 and was able to transfer mew to pokemon silver hehe,and yep i still have em, level 100 LOL

I have gameshark, so I can get all the mews I want, but I don't use mews, so there is no reason for me to get them.

You can still have an excellent game without them.  After all in Red and Blue, it was all about Mewtwo. ^^;

Yea, I agree with Silver on that.. it was all bout mewtwos... and the duplication trick.
I can just remember it now....
"Can you duplicate your level 100 mewtwo??? Please please??"
"No."
"Why?"
"Because I want another Mewtwo!"
"No."
"Aww man..."

Ah, the delights of elementary school.

You do know that using a Gameshark erases your chances of playing your game in a tour, right? I've been to about three Pokemon Game Tours all around with my red. Because of this, I have obtained a legit Mew from the officials. It's not really that strong, and I don't know exactly why I wanted one now. But, I'll be waiting for another tour to come around with my Saphire version. Oh, yeah!

Really? You've been to the Pok�mon Game Tours? I'd like a legit Mew and Celebi, since having 'clones' is kinda making me feel guilty; though I'd never use them, lol. I live in the middle of nowhere (Oregon..) so I never have a chance to go to these things, or even a Game or Anim� Convention. I hope to at least get a legit Jirachi for my Sapphire..

I don't have a game shark, nor do I plan to go to a tour, so it's all good.

I recall my army of Mews after long hours slaving over my cosin's game genie... but I also found how to get all the others as well. (I digress)
I do love my Mews very much, mostly because I can load them with HMs and the 3 TMs (in R/B/Y) that have an effect outside battle and still have 4 more pokemon poised to do nothing but whop some serious everything.
And we can't forget that Mew is the best looking cat ever to appear in any poekmon game, am I right?
