It seems they are enjoying using colors for name of the games. Blue, Red, Yellow, Gold, Silver.... Then they went over to gems or something similar. Ruby, Sapphire, and Crystal. If they keep this pattern, I wouldnt be surprised of a Cyan or Magenta, or maybe Orange. :P They need a yellow-ish gem of some sort, so... Amber version?

I dunno, it's one of those things that just go along with Pokmon. Although I did like the shinyness of Gold and Silver. It's just one of those things you get used to. I don't forsee a deviation from basic colors, gems, plants, ect anytime soon. ^^;
Well, they really used colors in the first game. Pallet town, like a painter's pallet. Vermilion city? Lavender town... Indigo Plateau. Cinnabar Island... colors and similar! Then again, look at all the starting towns/cities in all of the games. It has something to do with a root of everything else. Blah, my mind is going blank right now, I can't really focus... well anyways, colors and plants and gems, they were used in Pokemon excessively, in my opinion. Did they run out of ideas? I dunno.
Either that, or it's just become the theme of the game. Probably a little bit of both. ^_^;
Diversity! Many species together, and many colors and races of everything! Everything is different in a big way, but you have to get along! Or else! Basically it :P.
Er I was wondering if they would ever come out with a Green Version
Apparantly not!
Actually, there are making somewhat a green version.
Yes, it's called Leaf Green, a remake for the Gameboy Advance. No one knows if it'll be released outside of Japan though.
[B]I really hope that green version would be better than all sivler, gold, yellow, etc poke'mon games,, and i hope they would be relesed outside of Japan. They are the masters of technology!
