Anybody saw and/or own the Mewtwo Returns movie ?

Has anyone seen it ? I saw it ! and I have it too on DvD :biggrin: I thought it was pretty cool, I think it would have been a better sequel for the first Pokemon movie, than Pokemon 2000, not that I didn't like Pokemon 2000, I loved every single part with Lugia :cheesy: anyway...if you've seen it..whats your fav part ? what was your least ? did you hate it did you like it ? so on and so forth...has this been asked before ? if it has sorry !

Yeah, I saw that movie, infact I brought that movie. ^_^  I got it for DVD and I must say I was impressed with it.  It more than made up for that big let down with the First Movie.

Pok�mon 2000, the 3rd & 4th movies ect, aren't sequels at all.  None of the movies directly relate to each other.  Anime movies that fit in with a TV are designed to follow along with the current season.  So if you tried to watch all four Pok�mon movies to understand it, you'd get very confused, fast.  Because they don't relate to one another.   However if you were to watch all 500 something episodes (the movies would be optional), play one of the games (Red/Blue series) then you would understand.

Gah, i'm rambling now. ^_^;

I figured that...why dont they make them sequels and stuff ? I dont get it...oh well. I have the games, well sorta..all I got are Silver and Blue...my step dad has Red and Gold..and Blue >.>; and �we both collect the cards, we both have two binders full of them ^.^ one, an english binder, and the other full of japanese. I actually only have two binders..he has three now that I think of it..the other he has is full of promo cards and stuff, and his binders are jammed packed ! Mine aren't as big as his, but I try...I have the japanese fossil mew...he doesn't :biggrin:

um... i saw it i guess.... it wasnt really great. well, thats my opinion, you have yers. i think the third was the best.

If they made them sequels then the movies would have their separate storyline running, and they wouldn't fit in with the series.  After a while that would get pretty confusing.

aww darn...ok..then howcome, in the series, I saw the one with Articuno right..and why did Ash seem like he never saw it ? If he saw it in the movie. That got me confused. And I saw the one with Lugia too, but if there was one that Lugia was completely seen in the show, I didn't see it, all I saw was the one that he swam under them briefly, but they heard him, and they did't know him...well Brock wouldn't know but Ash and Misty should have..

Well, this morning Ash did see Lugia and he didn't recognize him XP.  They seem to be keeping the movies and the TV show completely seperate, with the exeption of the first movie where they had some Mewtwo stuff on the  TV show...but it still wasn't a lot...><

Ohhh yeah, I remember seeing that episode !! and in the movie they show Gary and his pokemon getting beat up *grins at the thought* take that Gary ! but I feel sorry for his Arcanine..anyway, I wish they wouldn't keep the show and movies seperate..'cause then when they meet the rare pokemon in the show they could say "Hey its you !! Its great to see you again !" or something like that...I missed the episode with Lugia ?!?!? Nooo ! *baps self*

Lol, It was funny when Gary got beat up...he was cryin like a littl�...erm...cry-ey thingy...^^;; Nd don't worry too much about missing the Lugia epi cuz itza trilligy ^-^ Pretty much the only thing that happened was Team Rocket got ahold of a baby Lugia, and there going to use it for secret experiments!!! Mua ha ha ha he ha he ha hee ni he he he he ha ha! *cough* *cough*

You're right about that, the movies aren't always consistant with the TV show. ^_^;  Darn those writers. lol.

Arg, I still haven't seen Saturday's episode.  At least I have it taped. ^_^

I m-missed t-that ?!?!? �I think I'll go hang myself now...*wishes she had taped it !* I still havent seen Pokemon 4...what is wrong with the world !! no wait...WHATS WRONG WITH ME ! Well, atleast Christmas is coming up...I'll be asking for some things..*sneaky smile* what about you all ? as in...what might you be getting of pokemon...anyone got the soundtrack for pokemon 4 ?

I actually dont know if its out yet..I havent seen it, if I do, I'm buying it. I was at Wal-Mart (handy dandy store!) yesterday, and I looked through ALL the soundtracks they had and none was pokemon 4...even if I wasn't looking for it, I was looking for the Chamber of Secrets soundtrack...didn't find the one I wanted of THAT either *grumbles*

Ya..thas' true...Ok, back to topic...What was everyone's fav part in Mewtwo returns ? and which part did you least like ? and all the other questions...I liked the part when the two Meowth's meet each other. And my least fav is when poor Mewtwo is being hurt by those things *growls*..'course thats all I remember at the moment..I haven't watched it in a LONG while..heh heh ^.^;;;

heh heh I watched Mewtwo Returns like 10 times and I'm still havin trouble rememberin the whole thing ^^;  But I know my fav part was when Mewtwo got all better in the specil water and it was like how it was in the first movie ^^  The part I didn't like was...when...I think the thing I dun like 'bout it is that it doesn't have a mini movie =P  I luv those cutey 'lil Pika Projects....

But the DVD had special features which included a mini movie.  It was quite good too. ;)

Oh so kewl!  If only I had a DVD player...heh heh ^^;

I've watched the movie alot too, and I dont remember much either..^.^; The mini movie in the DVD is the Uncut version of Mewtwo's Origin, right ? I hope so, thats the only mini story I think there is on there...anyway, I agree the story is pretty cool ! Too bad you dont got a DVD player -__-

Wait, Xbox can play DVDs?!?! *pokes da box* no one tells meh things! ^^;;

To watch a DVD on an Xbox you have to have a Xbox DVD Movie Playback Kit. The kit contains hardware, the driver, and an infrared DVD remote control. Sorry to mention it if you already knew.

Ya I think PS2 or Xbox would be cheaper than a DVD player. But you could just go to a friends house and watch it right ? but then again, you have to have it on DVD..so never mind..>.>;

No, I meant the Movie Playback Kit that Maverick was talking about.  You can  get a decent DVD player for half the price of a PS2 or an Xbox. XD

I got the wh0le card set! ^-^ I just bought �m...heh heh ^^;;  I did get all but one of the gold cards...and a lot of the toys, but not all ^^;

LOL!  I was just happy to get my hands on two of those cards.  Everytime I went to burger king they were sold out.

 Which is the ones you both got ? My fav ones are Charizard, and Mewtwo :biggrin: and I'm still missing a few of the other cards, the one that has ALL the pokemon..and I got so many extra, it can fill up another binder...-.-
