Mew or Mewtwo, but if you mean in my own personal team in the game, then Garydos. (eh, however it's spelled) It was almost never beaten. Hehehe...
Heh... my Mightyena has been undefeated thus far, so I'll go with him....
Other than that, of the choices given, I like Lugia.
If other, then the Charizard I once had....

Linoone! Linoone!
Hmm, from my personal team, it'd be my Alakazam, but I think it'd be Mew overall. Dunno, really, but that's my guess.
My strongest is Mewtwo, but closely followed by my first Pokemon ever my Pikachu ,Lightning.

I would say Mewtwo, Latios, Latias, and most of all Lugia! Iti si one of best
Well, in general, I'd say Mewtwo and Mew were the strongest....but Lugia is my fave, and by far strong.
Mew. Some say Mewtwo's genetic enhancements (well, better stats) make him stronger, but he doesn't have half the versatility that Mew does. Who can use ANY move? And realistically speaking, having the edge in raw skill will not make up for a tremendous deficit in versatility.
I'd say, all of the legendary poke mons. But if it's my team, it woould be Umbreon, and Suicune.

I guess it depends on what power means. Having the best stats with a given set of moves, or having the ability to use any move. Or course when you have two powerful pokmon, it would all boil down to strategy. Given the amount of movesets avalible no Pokmon out there is universially strong. Sure back in the original games, it used to be psychic types, but that's no longer a reality with dark types and additional ghost type moves. Not to mention the scores of defensive and retailation moves avalible.
In the past I would have simply said Mewtwo without a second thought. However, with the possiblities of the newer games, I now lean slightly toward Mew. What good is that light screen against a move like brick break? ;) Or how about a nice spite or torment move? I just wish I could see a match between the two given the new rules from either the Gold and Silver games or the Ruby and Sapphire games.

| Silver Huskey you are right! |
it do matter how powerful it is, it is all based on stregy and i do not care what type it is, all i care what type it is strong against, etc
BlackFire and Silver Husky are right, or at least sorta. I mean I don't think there could be just one all powerful pokemon. I mean every type has its advantages and every type has its disadvantages. But if we're talking about our personal favs, mine would have to be my Alakazam, Typholozion (sp?) and Lugia. But hey, we all have our opinions so I guess it doesn't really matter. :-)
I like Mewtwo, Lugia, any poke'mon are psychic! It rocks, it can paralaye the enemies, freeze them, chip the hp very fast
I Like to use fire pokemon, Or if I have a lapras I'd probably use lapras, no one has ever beaten good old Lapras.
