That is awesome, if its authenticity can be confirmed (need AC for that!). Regardless, the asking price is simply absurd. With such a limited prospective market, even the rarist Balto pieces are hardly apt to realize such high prices... For shame, someone obviously does not know how to consult auction appraisers (ahem).

That price is simply absurd! But,it's....tempting *drools*
What am I saying?! I wouldn't dare try to bid! It has AC's name written all over it (He's the only one I see who can come up with that kind of money)

I'd say don't buy it. It is over priced.. remember I got mine for under 赨 and check ito ut, the auction has a reserve price and a buy it now feature... wanna bet the reserve is th same as the buy it now? This guy never lets anything go for less than the buy it now.

That looks great, and i'm sure it's authentic, but I wouldn't buy at that price either. Especially seeing how that Kaltag guy is the seller. He wants an arm, leg, and head for his prices! I have a feeling that no one in their right mind would bid. =p

Arms, legs and heads is an understatement.I'd say he's trying to suck the life out of you! LOL!
I'm certainly in my right mind so there's no way I'd do it.

Of note... For the buy-it-now price, one could reasonably find an early 19th century microscope in outstanding shape and with goodly accessories; or a museum-quality, ultra rare 19th century drafting set; or a 19th or 20th century original painting by a moderately well known artist. Needless to note, the asking price is very much absurd.
Now a buy-it-now price reflective of the starting "bid" price, that might be reasonable.

That 'Buy it Now' option is a little under half of my college tution (I don't take many classes). As much as I love Balto, I could think of more useful ways to spend that kind of money. XD
