Thats cool, this message is fine here, and it's cool you used the edit button too. Have you got a scanner? Would be cool to see it as the movie never made it to the cinema here
76-106196064502 Mar 2003, 21:12 UTC
well...i do have a scanner...it wont work :*(
78-106196066502 Mar 2003, 23:13 UTC
Poor me remembers seeing the trailer for the movie played on television a few times and how I wanted to go see Balto in theaters... But alas, I never went. Seeing the original animation on the big-screen will thus remain a dream (hmmm - I wonder if I could get my paws on an original theater Balto film reel???).

When I'm rich and famous, I'll get a movie theatre to screen Balto ;)
78-106196066903 Mar 2003, 00:52 UTC
Cool:biggrin:! I never saw Balto in the movies:sad:.
Fluke> Yay! Movie to screen Balto non-stop action!
83-106196071603 Mar 2003, 01:33 UTC
That's cool, but it's shame you can't show us, I really would have like to have seen the ticket. =/
LOL! Go for it AC!
78-106196066503 Mar 2003, 02:07 UTC
A theater to showcase the Balto film? That would have to become the third site of pilgrimage for Balto fans. From my Balto-holy-registries, I believe that the first shrine site is Nome, Alaska; the second is the Balto statue in New York.

I'd love to see that ticket stub as well. I never made it to the theater to see the movie either. So that idea of Fluke's sounds really great.
Nex> LOL That sounds about right.
76-106196064503 Mar 2003, 03:53 UTC
Well i kinda thought about this...on the 100th anniversary (2025) we meet at the statue in New York, then go to Nome Alaska..yeah this thought crossed my mind several times

76-106196064503 Mar 2003, 18:48 UTC
LOL i'll be 38 by then...2025 is 22 years away...so we will have to wait awhile, and if i keep that stub in good condition, i'll bring it with me...by then i dont know if i'll even have enough money to make such a trip, but i might as well start while im still young

22 years? I hope to be living in Nome by then, so you can all stay at my place. ;)

I hope that wolfs never disapear. The day wolfs disapear is the day my people the Sioux do.

same here dude, heh if that happens, im gonna be pretty angry as well as sad
78-106196066504 Mar 2003, 23:01 UTC
Nah, no worries about the wolves, at least in North America. There are plenny'o stompy organizations protecting the natural resources, which is mostly a good thing. Just be wary of those radical ones that tear down powerlines and such... Definitely not a good thing to have on college or work resumes.

70-106196059205 Mar 2003, 11:27 UTC
That's a nice idea but I intend to be so #### famous by then, I won't be able to go outside with out being mobbed by fans lol.
If I get to America again though, I'd make sure that I went to see the statue and probably say when so friends could aways meet then
65-106196053406 Mar 2003, 01:02 UTC

Very true...but if I were to have kids, I'll pass my Balto craziness on to them . Aheh, imagine when ppl say to them, "How come you like a movie which comes out WAY before you were born?!" I'll make them reply, "Well, it kinda runs in my family, at least from one side of my family." *takes a quote lol*
76-106196064314 Mar 2003, 17:07 UTC
Kids can be a torture as well as a gift. It all depends on how they act. I myself hope to have kids someday. I just hope they dont drive me crazy.

LOL. That'd be awesome... Do-able too by way of operant conditioning or other psychological methods of programming (which I am testing on my little brother, quite fun). Kids are guaranteed engines for driving parents crazy. First you get the infant stage with lots of crying and sleepless nights, then the whiney school age stage, then the infamous teenage years... It never ends (I know, the grief I put my parents through). LOL.

Oh no!Kids?! They're worse than a barrel of monkeys!I have siblings at the age of 8 and I know!
Infants are worse still! It's not that I have anything against them, but there was one day where I had to put up to a baby's screaming and yelling I felt like walking up to his mother and saying "Could you please stuff his mouth with something?"
75-106196063515 Mar 2003, 08:25 UTC
LOL, really Kaynine?! Remind me to have them ASAP. Judging by my place, ppl here get married by their mid thirties, so if I go by that range too....eeeek! I don't have a mate yet!
Nex> I'll have to consider that, Nex. Unfortunately I'm the only Balto fan in my siblings. The others love anime more than anything!
70-106196059215 Mar 2003, 11:34 UTC
*shudders* I'm 22 and still have no intention of having children.. I can't think of anything worse, I prefer dogs, they are more loyal, love you no matter what, want less, talk less, cost less and don't live as long lol
76-106196064415 Mar 2003, 15:39 UTC
I am going to have to agree with you Ac I can't really stand little kids all that much even thought I have barely been around any (no brothers or sisters thank god) but little kids seem to like me and I don't know why lol.

A meeting at the Balto statue in 2025, eh? I'll be 38 then..I'll still be young, lol. I wish I would have seen Balto in the theatre, unfortanately I too was oblivious to seeing it (since I was eight, I think :o ) It would be nice to see it in the theatre now, especially with all this new digital picture and surround sound stuff. (None in my local theatre, but it's spreading, eh? Of course, I wouldn't care if its played with or without

)
As for kids? Eckk..crazy little buggers. I get tired just from watching them run around and jump on things, etc. and so forth. Thank god I was a kid in the eighties-early nineties, when the TV network for kids (err..America's "Nickelodeon"..) was still good. (Yecch! Taken a glance at it lately? Horrible!) No wonder the kids today are (even more) insane! lolol ;)

well a meeting in 2025 i'd be, 33, ####, i wanna be there before i'm 33, i already have a friend who lives in Nome though, but i won't tell who, I have some contacts and could possibly arange a screening sometime in a cinema/movie theatre, i know one famous New Zeland band member and song writer, and a very very good guitarist who wants to get into the charts, and the way he plays he just might do so.
83-106196071216 Mar 2003, 23:35 UTC
dayumn Thats a cool Idea as I have always wanted to visit NYC for the shockingly awesome attractions & sites
76-106196064417 Mar 2003, 00:11 UTC
I don't know if there was a meeting in 2055 if I would go mainly because I hate the city I don't think I could handle being in New York but hey maybe as time passes I may learn to like the city.
75-106196063017 Mar 2003, 08:50 UTC

well I guess I could stand it long enought to see Balto.
75-106196063518 Mar 2003, 23:59 UTC
Ohhhh...I'd love to see how Big Apple really looks like!Do they have police sirens coming around the corners every so often? And the rush hour, the tall tall tall building  Imagine Central Park is just at the heart (well as least I think it is) of the city...boy I'd wish I'm there for a look, for Balto's statue of course!
75-106196063019 Mar 2003, 02:56 UTC
*shakes Kylewulf out of his dreams* Stop it! You're tempting me! Ooo....must see ...statue...must..
Oh,sorry! I must be going mad...
65-106196054219 Mar 2003, 04:14 UTC
He's tempting me too, Kaynine. I want to live in New York City someday, but I don't know how I ever will since I'm legally blind, and therefore can't drive, which means it will be difficult if not impossible for me to go to college. *cries*

76-106196064320 Mar 2003, 03:26 UTC
You all know the saying every little penny counts. When I went to newyork, by the end of the day I had around 20 dollers in change. I have been to newyork only ones and I never got to see the statue. *Sighs* I hope I will see it someday.
75-106196063020 Mar 2003, 06:44 UTC

Loner>Aww,but you must! If the sirens bother you, then get a muffler.
76-106196064320 Mar 2003, 06:51 UTC
It was a misstype. I ment found 20 dollers in change. I mean you can make a whole lot of mony in new york from all the spair change you find. It is amazing!
75-106196063020 Mar 2003, 07:07 UTC
O.o Wow! You got that much from picking up spare change!? That's way too cool! Most I got was about 3 dollars.
76-106196064320 Mar 2003, 07:12 UTC
But it will add up after awhile.
75-106196063020 Mar 2003, 07:54 UTC
