As far as I know, Klaus isn't a member here, either that or not an active member. I last saw him in the Balto community trying to get people to look at his "Adult Balto Art" and when no one replied, he left.

ARGR!!! Why do I keep finding good artists with bad UNNORMAL unknown art habbits? Why da hel_l_ do I find that they draw bad stuff after I end up liking their good art? Actually, just about all of Klaus's artwork I've come across has been pornographic/yiffy. Very rarely do I come across a -normal- Klaus piccy.

You may call me a prude or closed minded, but I think there is something very wrong about showing Balto like that. Sure it is facts of life in reality, but a cartoon that is that special to me makes it kinda wrong. At the end of the day, it is a cartoon, and a dog, I mean common people think about that. I always kinda suspected Klaus did do that stuff as all his clean pics (I don't know if they are clean versions or seperate pics) showed that he obviously liked the male form with rippling muscles etc (Also when I saw this pic too http://www.theicecave.org/fans/klausbalto9.jpg). In reality huskies and wolves don't look anything like that, their strength is kinda hidden. He makes them look more like a pitbull in form than anything else. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to say he is a bad artist or anything, that is his style and if he likes it then go for it. The only critism I have of his work is there is no development in it. How many Steele pics have we seen with "Steele" written in street art? Kinda gets boring to see the same idea over and over again. Kinda like if you have seen one Klaus pic, you've seen them all, but then obviously not if he does yiffy stuff... Ignorance is bliss.
If you are after a commission from him I would say be careful though because he has in the past been known to cut out a picture of Balto from a screenshot and shade it and claim to be his own like this one for example http://www.theicecave.org/fans/klaussteele13.jpg you can see the lines from where he cut them out. Darn! �Never realized he drew yiff stuff. �That really is sad. �I saw some edited art but it was clear he was not the kinda artist that is normal in a sense. � �I guess I wont be looking for him anymore... � As for the overly ripping muscle thing I dont necessarily disagree. �I have seen stuff that is worse. �I still think it is a unique interpritation of what he might have looked if he were more robust. �I didnt think it was overly done none the less. �But he does go out of line. �I have not seen the unedited stuff except for 1 and that was enough to make me puke. �Lets hope He didnt get my mail. �Also I am very open to peoples views on art. �The change from the typical skinny look probably encouraged me to seek out commisions. � Guess someone sunk my boat with that comment about he being too dirty and sick minded-_-. �And I had such high hopes too. �Balto is still cool any way you draw him. �Just as long as its NOT YIFF.

I do like Klaus's (clean) style, but like it was said, it was good at first, then after a while it got really repeative. As if he ran out of ideas. *shrugs* It's been ages since he's done any Balto artwork and if has done any, it's probably more so yiff related.
And what do you mean by deleting the "forum name"?

Yeah...
He is an great artist.. I spoke with him long time ago.. A really nice guy... My guess he was bored, when he started to draw the "weird" stuff.
